The 'What have you just bought' Thread
ButcherBill replied to Cameron364's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Popped into LandWarrior Airsoft on the way home from work (just for a nosey really). I hoped I might get a gas tube for my M16A3 but no luck so I bought an M-lok fore grip, seeing as I'd ordered a keymod one by mistake. -

Performancewise there's bugger all difference. It just depends on whether you prefer m-lok or ris rails to attach things. Personally I prefer ris rails as they're more common. Pick whichever one you prefer the look of. If you want to use x sight I'd go with a red dot over a scope as engagement ranges are short enough in airsoft that you don't really need one

A T238 brushless motor to go into my PTS Masada. Nothing extra, but I must say I'm quite pleased on how in runs

Both will be playable options, unlikely to be any real difference in range and accuracy between the two. Metal body on the more expensive is a personal preference thing only. The electronic trigger unit in the more expensive offers a little more functionality, and would allow for a 'snappier' feel when shooting. In reality though, it is unlikely to translate into more eliminated enemy players.... Specna also offer some rifles (polymer bodies, but with electronic triggers) around the price of the cheaper of your two delta armory links - worth a look!

Sellers who swap original furniture (stock, grip, handguard, etc) on their gun for third-party then list the gun for sale without the originals but charge based on depreciation of the complete original gun and the new furniture.

Hi, I played my first airsoft game and would like to do it again few time a year. As the rental price at my site is around £30 per game, I am thinking about getting my own gun. Started looking and I would like to know the difference between say this gun: https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/delta-armory-da-c03-charlie-tm-m4a1-ras-aeg and this: https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/delta-armory-r15-freya-tm-gen-2-10-m-lok-m4-ar-15-aeg?pv=26529 Based on my very limited research, its mostly about 'feel', ease of use (mofset etc) and realiablity. Does the accuracy and fire power differs from cheaper gun and more expensive ones, as fps is anyway limited? My plan is to upgrade gun with optical magnifier scope. My goal is to get something I can be competitive without breaking the budget (say £200 with scope), as I will be playing maybe 4-6 times a year + some home target practice. So accuracy and fire power are important, other things less (unless someone will use good arguments to convince otherwise).

Last one that did that to me got bad feedback, not sure if the rules allow that but thought "f#ck it, people need to know what kinda person you are". If they can't be trusted in a sale, odds on they're cheating cnuts on the field too 🤬

Have you charged the battery?

Ah, wasn't aware it was a magpul foregrip. I retract my previous statement and apologise 🙏

I was going to fork out for an LCT dog tail and the ugly keymod handguard... Then I remembered the Zenitco SPORT kits don't rely on the retainer so much. Had to cut out the bottom of the rail to accommodate the gas block (AK74/105 gas block sits more forwards and the sport kit has a hole already for it). Rail isn't very pretty due to countless games and abuse but it looks pretty good on the RPK if I say so myself

That's going on the "what grinds your gears" thread. I've already asked about the handguard. 😅
