    I'm one of those upgraded sears people, bought my VSR off someone at my old local site in 2006, still has 20 year old upgraded sears and mosquito mold parts 😂 Only thing I've changed in my ownership is longbow guide rings, maple leaf hop unit and rubber and a new bolt handle. I could replace everything for new but at that point I might as well just buy one second hand that's has everything done and save myself time and money. It's not consistent and fps sometimes varies ~30fps between shots but it soldiers on and has never let me down so I'll use it until it dies then it'll become a wall hangar. The M190 I bought around the same time has also soldiered on and only last month the piston lid shit itself mid game, have had far more issues with newer guns tbh.

    Steel + real wood spring Kar98K with a ZF39 scope, faux wood crate and 5 mags by ares. Skirmished it once, has some natural wear from use on the wood pictured, had it mostly as a beautiful wall hanger but finances have forced me to sell unfortunately. Scope works beautifully. using small washer in place of lost scope lock, functions fine. magwell also modded for better feeding by previous user. dont have chrono to hand but iirc was about ~400 last site measure. DM for more details. total new is at least £700. looking for just £450.

    WE Apache A3 and KWA USP 9, cheeky little H&K setup as I want to have a few games where I'm not sat at the back like a loser with my VSR and get my fat ass moving a bit more, need to set up my second belt to suit this load out but thankfully won't need a million pistol mag pouches as I won't be running 2 pistols with this. Or maybe I'll run a Mac with these 2 😂

    Just saw a video on my recommended feed on YouTube “confirming” and advocating this as a “Loophole”. Some guy who collects airsoft guns claimed to have used the insurance as a defense to purchase a RIF from an established and known online retailer. In the video itself, he shows 2 handgun RIFs. In the spirit of the legality of the sport of airsoft and fearing what consequences an en masse “way around it” may bring us, I’ve opted not to link it. I think when the video gains more traction, action could be taken where it’s no longer a problem. For better (retailers stop accepting it without seeing proof its being used in cosplay, just like the re-enactors / Military vehicle restoration crowd have to) or for worse (legislative changes) 🦉 Owl is monitoring the situation.

    Current pet peeve: listings with multiple items in the title and picture. They reupload them after a week, and don't edit the pic to cross out items already gone. (Or don't change the title to remove the ones that are gone!) So you click on it thinking it's interesting, see the only good parts are sold and it's the scraps left over.

    I have a MCX legacy AEG that I bought in 2019 but I am unsure of its worth. I know this the rarer variant of MCXs that are out there in the wild. I have 5 lancer magazines that also come with it. Any advise is appreciated.
