Today was an invitation game day at Airsoft Plantation; 42 trusted, honest and excellent players, including some of the marshals and the site owner, were on site for the day. Oh, and so was I! As I wanted to finish setting up the ICS Masada, I had even more rifles with me than usual, much to the amusement of one of the other players, who was also shocked that I also had something that looked rather like an M4. The first game involved us (the blue team) attacking the village from the hill fort; we had infinite buddy regens after falling back 30m, while the defenders had three lives. Our objective was to set off bombs in four structures in the correct order; these being the Cock Inn, the Town Hall, the Casino and the Border Bridge. Eschewing the direct approach, I elected to swing far to the left and attack the village from the far end, so that I could hopefully strike the defenders in the flank while they battled against my colleagues. This proved to be a good plan as I was able to surprise and take out a number of them; we fought our way into the village, destroying all of the objectives after some really intense firefights. After a quick break to mag up, the game was reversed. The enemy pressed hard; again, there were some great firefights and some great play, as might be expected on an invitation-only day.. The highlight of this game for me was that I shot the site owner a couple of times. Yay! The next game required the enemy, who again had infinite 30m buddy regens, having to attack the Mortar Pits from the DEA Base, secure a stretcher from the top of the tunnels and then transport a player on it to the bridge on the other side of the Mortar Pits. The stretcher required four players to move it and, if the player on it was hit, they had to be replaced by another player; we had two lives. Starting off at the front of the Mortar Pits, I engaged a number of targets as the enemy tried to push towards the tunnels; we held them up for a considerable time, although I was eventually hit by a sniper who had moved into the hill fort. Falling back to near the berm which runs down the far side of the Mortar Pits, I became involved in fighting off the attackers who were trying to reach the stretcher. We held them up for a long time, before eventually being overrun as they pushed along the berm. Being hit again, I retired to the trailer at the back of the Mortar Pits to watch the fun, which included red team players attacking each other in the mistaken belief that they were the enemy. Eventually, they got an injured player to the bridge. Luncheon was then taken, after which the stretcher game was turned around. We decided to split the team in two, with one group attacking and taking the bridge, while the rest of us secured the stretcher and transported it there. Our group pushed quite rapidly into the Mortar Pits, overcoming a strong enemy defence before being held up by accurate fire from the top deck of the bus. We eventually overcame this and I was very impressed with one of my shots, which went through a small open window and hit the player behind it. There was then a push to get the stretcher to the bridge, which was completed after a couple of changes of stretcher bearers and passengers. After this game, I left as I wanted to get home to watch Liverpool win the Premiership; fortunately, they did so, which was worth giving up some airsoft time for. As should be expected from such a day, there was some great play and generally excellent hit taking, although there were a few comments about one player. It was hard fought but also great fun and was played in an excellent spirit. Weapons used: SRC T-91 (which looks rather like an M4) ICS CXP APE ACR (Masada) Classic Army ISSC Mk22 (Because someone decided that the world needed a .22 version of the SCAR) ASG XP18 Commander (CO2)

Both cameras work perfectly and include sd cards (both have been wiped clean so no free 'you been framed' £200 worthy videos). Can supply footage for proof of working if needed. No charging cables though as i need a mini usb for my ps3 controllers. Roam comes with an arc rail mount fitted for fast helmet use but also has 2 other mounts which stick onto stuff which have never been used. All the annoying lights have been taped over to stop you being spotted a mile away and a 3mm thick polycarb sheet is also taped over the lense for protection. The mobius has the standard lense (velcro on bottom was there to help it stay in a 3d printed mount which isnt included). Reason for sale is i use them once in a blue moon and the only footage i end up filming with them is about as exciting as a First and Only brief (obligitary deck chair not included). £70 for both or £45 for the mobius and £35 for the contour Prices are plus postage of £5£70

Hi, thank you. I have played three times with rental airsoft guns, but I don’t like them as they are not very accurate. I prefer playing at mid to long range (probably around 20 to 40 meters). It will most likely be an AR, which I prefer. I haven’t played CQB yet; we mostly played in woodland areas. Any suggestions to start with? I did some research, and it seems my choices are between the two, or possibly G&G.

I have sold to the Channel Islands before and it means that the Importer has to make sure they follow all the local laws required, but also the exporter has to fill in a declaration form. Honestly I would rather avoid going through it again,

For UK legislation there is no difference between retail & second hand RIF sales If it was a sale within the UK then even a private seller is the one liable for a compliant VCRA RIF sale - the buyer should demonstrate a VCRA defence to justify the RIF sale, but it is the seller who is legally liable But Jersey is not part of the UK, therefore it would be an import and the importer (buyer) is responsible for justifying a RIF import This could be difficult and complicated

I saw that yesterday when i had a look at the gun. I carefully rounded the nose like it said, but now it only feeds BBs from one side of the magazine. So you get one shot, then it cycles without loading another into the hop. 😂 Stupid gun, i really want to take it out and use it too.

Airsoft sites assume a certain amount of knowledge (although they shouldn't). Anything capable of over 1.3J (with any ammo, not just what you choose to use) must be single shot, as a matter of law, not site rules. Over 1.3J and auto is (legally speaking) a Section 5 firearm, not an airsoft gun, and notionally has the same penalty as being caught with a real firearm. If you want a DMR (over 1.3J by law, or over the 1.13-1.2J site limit for AEGs , it must be limited to single shot in some way - it's up to sites to decide what methods they'll accept.

Ahoy and welcome. "Best" in airsoft is a loaded question. Best for what? CQB? Woodland? Best effective range? Best reliability? Best semi auto trigger response? Best rate of fire? Best satisfaction per trigger pull (GBB or EBB)? Have you played at all? What did you like or not like about the guns that you've already used? All that said, you've listed decent choices, there's no reason not to get them. -
