Airsoft site in London which is approved under UKARA
Galvatron replied to carpio's topic in General Discussion
In all likelihood you'll have to search further afield of Greater London. With a premium for leasing/buying property or suitable woodland, running an airsoft site in London isn't sustainable. Bunker 51 closed down a few months ago. It's worth checking this site out: https://playairsoft.uk/map It's not an exhaustive list but there are options just outside Greater London accessible by public transport and a shortish taxi journey away (I assume you don't drive). -

Hi all, I am looking to get the UKARA player registration. Hence, I need to take part 3 games in an UKARA registered site. However, I failed to find any list. Is any one able to tell me which site is approved by UKARA in London city? Thanks

Love waking the dead 🧟♂️ I know you should know what you are in for when ordering from Ali-X, but this one took me slightly by surprise. I ordered some M32 Mod 4 / SE32 (lol, you can see where this is going) with rail arms from Ali express for similar money to the post above. What arrived this afternoon was interesting. I received, in pretty poor/trashed packaging, some (presumably knockoff M32) SE32s with rail arms and a PTT. Unlike the official units, the packaging was insufficient, hence it got trashed by the farse that is Evri. No nice case/bag that comes with the legit models. The unit itself appears possibly unused, though the PTT was in the box for the rail arms, and the rail arms were in the box with the headset, so I suspect this was returned by someone and sent strait out to me. The whole thing looks like its been to Ukraine and back, which is fun, because its came in a Russian box with Russian instructions! I've not been to get some batteries to see if they work yet, also not sure I've got the nerve in-case they have been tampered with 😉. Has anyone else received something similar?

G&P Stoner 63 upgrade suggestions?
jzmalexander replied to jzmalexander's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Good point as I'm not sure how well the magazine would keep up with that, though I still want to be able to use 11.1v batteries in this with a stronger spring, as currently the low power is just not what I want. Right now on 0.2g it would be 272 FPS, I'd want it closer to 300 at the minimum. Considering that, what mosfet should I look for and what power of spring? Also with the higher power of an 11.1v, would I need to change out the piston or motor to not destroy the internals? -
…. Annoyingly I don’t seem to have particular props in my photo galleries @Cooperman26 I would recommend that you take your dynamite to your local, they may be willing to blow them up with some checks, but I’m more inclined that they would be willing to use them as dummies … or you could end up running your own themed game

Hi, I recently purchased a Manta switch cover in Black to match my current set up.Currently I have a Tan one which came with the PEQ 15. Unfortunately when attempting to change the pad/switch the wires snapped! It was a much more challenging than I had first anticipated.I am hoping to replace the 3.5 pad switch as I do like the Manta. However it is proving quite difficult to buy one on its own I can only assume it is because it old school. Any suggestions, advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated on my part ? Many thanks

What's that fps equate to on a .20 ? I'm a big believer in only "fixing" something when its broken, unless its performance is crap, boneyard level crap. Also, in the case of lmg's, sustainable support fire will be sacrificed if you try to get this up to aeg sewing machine speeds, something its irl equivalent was never meant to do, & you may well shorten its lifespan if you try to achieve that. Worth thinking about ?

Commercially, there is very little scope on the profit line on individual sales let alone the up front development & testing I wouldn’t think that it would be worth it for an aftermarket add on, but there could be scope for lookalike pyro. The issue I would see is it being a nieche item for a smaller market - but there are wide ranges of pyro for different purposes For player enjoyment there is the scope for reusable prop pyro. A few decades ago there was a small very expensive market, nowadays there are various choices and sites / organisers have access to enthusiastic people with ideas - the dynamite you have made is perfectly valid for use as a dummy prop It could be used in two ways without having to go bang itself 1) as a non functioning dummy 2) as a device that remotely controls pyro (effectively fireworks control systems) My gameplay began using the former, and we decided that we wanted to run our own games (or more precisely the site owner called our bluff and gave us a date in the calendar) We didn’t manage it straight off, but we wanted things that function, and began to ‘better’ our props — bumping into an ‘almost original’ member brought us the right man with the skills to put ideas into effect and have ‘real functioning’ props operated by players (or in a couple of cases ‘almost functioning dummy props’ that we watched them use while pressing buttons in our pockets (He fooled me with one device that I handed him a toy laser rocket launcher to modify - he just used it as is to be pointed at a reflector and used a remote detonator in his pocket)

Very true.

I picked up a second hand Stoner 63 the other day for a good price, but it is stock as far as I've been told. I want to upgrade it before running it on the field, but I'm not sure what parts would be good for something like this as its quite different to other LMGs from what I can tell. The previous owner was running it on 11.1v without a mosfet installed, and when I chronoed it on a 7.4v the gun did 0.69 joules/244 FPS on 0.25g. Ideally I'd want it closer to 1.1 joules and able to take 11.1v batteries. Right now I'm looking at a stronger spring (M100/105/110), getting a mosfet, and a lower gear ratio (16:1 or 13:1). Does the motor need upgrading, and hop up unit (its a but of an odd feeding system so not sure if there are even alternatives to the stock one)? Would appreciate any suggestions for particular parts or brands. (Also what is that bit on the back of the gearbox?)

Hi All, Up for sale is my CYMA MP5 SD6 blue edition which is full of many goodies. Fitted inside is a Jefftron Leviathan Mosfet which is controlled by Bluetooth on your phone so fire modes, gearbox settings etc can all be altered very quickly literally at the touch of a button! It has been short stroked by 3 teeth on the piston and has a SHS High torque motor, that is all for the gearbox as the blue editions are very good quality inside. It has a Madbull tight bore barrel with macron hop rubber and omega nub. The cocking lever has a sensor fitted so if wanted using in conjunction with the leviathan you can set it up to "be more realistic" i.e the mosfet can have a round counter so it will fire what you set it to, stop, change the mag and re cock the gun. This is not on at the moment as it is not " my thing" The suppressor has a custom made tracer fitted inside so perfect for CQB! Can be turned on and off. Along with all of this, the MP5 comes with 6x Cyma High cap magazines and 2x Viper pouches for the magazines. The gun is set up for 11.1v lipos, so if using lower batteries, mosfet settings will need changing. The gun is in excellent condition, no major scratches etc and also has a claw mount fitted ready for your red dot/optic of choice. Price is £270 inclusive of Postage and PayPal fees. Sam.270.00 GBP

It was pretty much a matter of ‘need to mention’ on record Common sense is not very common
