    I don't want to be harsh, but why would anyone put their gun up on there and have to pay a seller's Fee when they can just list here, pre-fired or usedairsoft and not have to pay a fee? As a seller, I would want to get the maximum I could for a RIF. Why would I do that on a site that's going to swipe 12% of my sale? Might not sound so bad on a £100 sale, but if I sold a big lot for £500 that's like £50-60 going just on a seller fee. For me, that's a big negative to this approach. Umm, Private sellers on Ebay do not pay fees so this is incorrect (I am an eBay seller, so I can confirm this). There's a reason EBAY removed seller fees for private sellers because it pushes people to use their competition, like Vinted. Also, Auctions suck; rather, just negotiate a price with a buyer rather than wait 7 days or however long an auction goes on for. And if it's going to be buy it now, then I may as well just list somewhere like here for free and not have to pay a fee. Sellers will ALWAYS choose the option that loses them less money. Paying Fees, even if it's just 12% is still losing money when there are free alternatives.

    I know there are other threads, but I fear replying to those will not have the impact or visability to those who can make the changes. The classified section has been absolutely destroyed over the past few weeks and months of changes. I know it is all done in the interest of improvement but the unintended consequences are extremely frustrating. 1. Renewing adverts is currently impossible. Both for the For Sale and Wanted categories. 2. I personally really like the previous ribbons of new, expiring soon and random adverts. With a good number in each category to scroll through. 3. Showing completed adverts without knowing they are completed steals my joy from me. The heartache is real. Can we remove completed ads from the ribbons? Or at least show them as completed? Many years ago I was "the guy" behind 2 forums. I know they are a pain in the backside and for anybody doing the background work, I appreciate your own pain and frustrations, and thank you for your continued work.

    Maybe ypu could make a tv show to support it? Maybe something where people drive about the UK buying second hand guns, then auction them off to see which team makes the biggest profit? Yoy could call it The Airsoft Roadshow 😉

    Guessing the idea is to emulate real auctions, which go on as long as there's two or more people bidding on the lot. That said, yeah eBay covers that by auto bidding for you and allowing you to set an upper limit. Getting sniped just doesn't really happen unless the price exceeds your upper limit anyway. But then, can't sell RIFs on eBay, so maybe there's a niche there.

    @Woosty im going to have to agree with GiantKiwi, you need to remove the afuk link from your site, its presence appears to give credibility to your venture, when in fact all the replies you're seeing on your posts here all show the general consensus is the polar opposite.

    Thank you galvtron I'll give them a go. I did find a website dkarmaments.co.uk that said they had stock after placing my order and paying they then email me the following day saying that it was out of stock and refunded me. I know Raven are not top of the range far from it, but I only paid £40 for it brand new in the box with all accessories and instruction books you'd normally get with it and it only gets used indoors for targets shooting I've never had any problems with it the gas valve is for a magazine someone gave me.
