What parts are you thinking of? Mine has a Maple Leaf barrel and hop rubber and a Laylax outer barrel. It only needed the outer barrel because I dropped it on the muzzle and damaged the original one. If you're looking for a pistol to smother in loads of pointless anodised tat then yes, Hi-Capa or AAP-01 are probably your best bet. If you want a decent pistol that is reliable and shoots well then yes, the HK45 is good (as is pretty much any TM pistol) as long as the ergonomics work for you.

If the parts market is dried up. That’s not good haha. how about the HK45? I was eyeing that as well. Is there a lot of parts ? If not, will go capa.

As alternatives, if you've got the cash an Archwick B&T Air SP300 is an option. It's built with all the upgrades you'd want to add. I have one, and it's very nice. For a less pricey option, a pal runs an Action Army AAC T10, which is a VSR clone, so plenty of upgrade options. You can get one from Airsoft World for £159, which is a steal. That, plus an uprated spring and piston will get you to 2.2j nicely.

Already been called out lmao, but £528 for the rifle shipped and taxes from Taiwan, plus £34 a mag (£68 because you're an absolute twunt if you claim the mag that came with the rifle is a spare), so £646 retail including the hop unit??? Just such a mish-mash of parts that are overpriced without actually being the best you can get. Looks like it wants putting down to be fair, can't see anyone paying close to that to put it out of its misery though.

Why would someone planning to lie to you tell such an obvious lie? They'd be under 1.2J with anything up to 0.45g anyway. We're talking about the situation where Harry Hotgun says "Yeah, mate, using point twos today, mate", chronos at 350fps, then walks onto the field shooting 2J with the 0.36g that he's really got loaded. How does trusting him about the BB weight catch that?

that specific example would be related to what the site rules are ... so for example if the site rules where 1.2 j for full auto 1.88 for dmr and 2.3 for bolt action and a guy rolled up and said he was using .32s and his fps was 280/290 and his joules are 1.20/1.25 that's with in an acceptable variance all depending on how much over the site allows , i would be raising eye brows if if he said .32 and his fps is 240 and his joules is 1.20 , i don't think the average person cheating the chrono is going to such efforts to hide small % , but more larger jumps, i would also probly assume that people that are new to the hobby and either dont understand joule creep or that changing the weight is cheating the chrono ,i see it all the time on posts on facebook about people being a little to hot and some peoples advice is to just use heavy ammo , the consequences of that catch up with people

Maybe for when the claimed and actual weights are at either end of the weight ranges. If the cheating player were to use a 0.32 bb at 1.2j the fps would be 284

If you have the file to print it, and the licensing allows for it, then there’s a bunch of us that can print it. I typically print things for cost so that Airsofters can get what they want for their airsoft guns. Others do it as an actual business and charge different prices. if you need the design work doing, that’s were it gets expensive. If it’s something simple like a supressor or a small part, some people can CAD it for a small cost but something like a rail is quite labour intensive and may not be cost effective. Jez said “for £53 buy that one”. I think he’s right. The SRU pre-made one will likely be cheaper and better quality than getting some random bloke off the forums to print you one.
