A landy was all the driving I got to do (unless you count a field cooker? It did run on petrol)

Assuming both are S&T, with the mags etc I would say a fair price would be around £180 for the UMP9 (Just over 70% of retail) and around £220 for the UMP 45 (Again around 70% retail). Just add shipping cost on top (Usually around £10 - £15 via parcelforce)

There is a real lack of Cold War models (esp British) on the market so when Airfix teased about this Stolly in my prefered scale 1/35 I snapped it up & £10 off for a damaged box that'll be in the bin as soon as it's built.

AK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I may be biased.... But adding on from that... My VFC AK74 is deadly accurate, dead fun to use and is an absolute work horse. As Lyndication said, it's an old platform but you can fit picatinny rails etc to it in the form of handguards/dust covers and bring it to the 21st century with no real issue. The VFC AK genuinely made me enjoy airsoft again after being an AEG user for 12 odd years. The only issue I found with the VFC AK was after using it for a few games was that every other GBBR I used lacked recoil compared to it 😂

Thank you I have heard this from other players as well. I can put a small grub screw on the selector to lock it out if needed, currently only play 2 or 3 sites and they don’t have an issue with a programming / electrical lock out.

I got the NVG's from Aliexpress and it was delivered for £566 which is about the price of a Tm NGRS. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006816652648.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.29.136c1802fL5pMX The price listed is £649 but when I went to buy them they knocked off £100 at checkout. Not sure if this is for everyone but I wasn't going to complain. I'll try to stick up a video showing the quality (once it gets dark!) -
These are both very different ergonomically and in terms of how you run them tbh. For the URGI it's a featherweight, aluminium, short arse modern carbine. You have so much space to attach tactical toys you don't need and it still won't be weighed down. For the AK, she's old dawg. It's a 35 year old modernisation of a 50 year old design. It's hefty, especially up front. Attachments aren't as easy to get going as on the URGI, but there's aftermarket options. Both have decent kick, though the AK wins it. It's a lot of steel getting thrown around, genuinely get yourself some kind of earpro for indoor games. The URGI is prone to hop issues while the AK is pretty solid. That said there's a million ways to carry an AR mag vs 5.45 AK mags. You can buy all the cool SEAL operator kit your heart desires. Real AK load bearing gear is hard to get because Ukraine and Russia are currently throwing the last of the Soviet reserves at each other. Prices on Smersh are insane given how shit it is. I personally lean towards the AK but it's not a svelte and modern gun, so you need to keep that in mind. Absolute tonne of fun though, and it's Airsoft anyway.

Unknown for sure what make, possibly Golden Eagle(?) gas 3-6 shot M870(?) metal and wood with reproduction steel bayonet lug/heat shield. This thing really looks the part and would fit any era from WW1 to Vietnam. When you rack this you get an enormous erec-feeling of power… The heat shield is removable with a couple of bolts tapped into the outer barrel. 9x 30rnd shells included, as is the sling. Bayonet NOT included, just there for demonstration purposes - it’s a rubber one from Shootandscoot that takes a small amount of cutting with a knife to clear the channel to make it fit. Unable to post as there is no box, but more than happy to meet close-ish to Ferrybridge.£250

Somewhat of a rarity now a days, the A&K M60 is one of the most iconic LMGs out there. This one has the Bullgear hop unit equipped and it sends BBs ridiculously far consistently and for as long as you can hold the trigger. The mag is standard and I’ve not had the usual feeding issues that these suffer with so have left it as is. There is a small cut out in the side of the casing allowing you to access the control switch. Included in the sale is the small length of about 17 7.62 nato rounds with links for that realistic feeling. They don’t click in properly but will stay in place when you close the top cover making it look the part. Unable to post as there is no box and it weighs as much as a neutron star, but more than happy to meet local-ish to Ferrybridge.£450

Nowhere near as expensive as the NVGs there, but I've finally put myself a CQB kit together for if I ever go to events where I can't do my scout sniper / recon role and have to do CQB instead. Already got the guns as I have a KWA mp9, or a CQB MWS with two uppers; one as a more modern mk18, one as a more retro car-15 style. Also already have the plate carrier with weighted training plates to simulate actual armour plates, plus placards for AR/AK, .308 and SMG mags. That left head and face protection that needed doing, as getting shot in the face up close sucks and I don't want expensive dental bills! Also, I am a tall fellow at 6'5" and don't want to scalp myself on any door frames, which someone did actually do at my local site a month or so ago; he's fine now but seeing what he did would make anyone at least a little squeamish. Bought a "ballistic" helmet from Aliexpress for £35, fully expecting that it wouldn't be the IIIA ballistic rating that was advertised because it was a £35 helmet from Aliexpress, and found some Americans who did in fact prove that they are not IIIA ballistic rated. However, what I wanted was a helmet that was big enough for my 62cm head, and also had a nice weight to it to simulate that armour in the same way the weighted plates in my carrier have no ballistic protection but sure make it feel like I'm wearing the real thing! To finish up, I also bought: a helmet cover, pair of earmor m32s and mounts, an Aliexpress anti-fog unit (bought the Nov one too, but thought that £15 was worth trying an Aliexpress one so will use that one first until it dies), a face mask balaclava combo, and then a pair of over-glasses goggles from Novritsch, since I know a lot of opticians are getting difficult when it comes to having inserts glazed, as well as some arc rail anti-fog hose clips to keep it all nice and tidy. Overall, I am pleased. It feels great, fits great and the whole setup came in at under £150 for absolutely everything; I didn't want to spend too much because at the end of the day, I won't be using this setup all that much as I way prefer my scout sniper / recon style of play, but it's nice to have options -
From a purely aesthetic point of view, I prefer the 14.3 URGI so I'd say the AK74m (I've also been playing a lot of STALKER and Grey Zone Warfare so AKs are on my mind right now). Performance wise I have no skin in the game as I'm an AEG guy.

Hello, I'm moving country and haven't played in a long time so looking to offload my entire old setup. Because I want it all gone and I don't want to deal with postage I'm going to do it as a job lot for very cheap, but you MUST collect from Edinburgh, Scotland. G&G CM16 combat machine - around 8 years old but not used that much Went for a kind of distressed well worn effect with the paint, it actually hasn't been used much at all. - Last test was about 318fps I think 3 x King arms 120rd mags 1 x G&G hi cap (about 500rds I think) Some furniture, a red dot styled like an acog (works), a suppressor, the original rear iron sight. Ebay plate carrier and small ebay molle backpack. Comes with a couple of old nimh batteries but they're almost certainly useless at this point. I have recorded a quick video showing that it's still cycling fine - https://photos.app.goo.gl/PNHqaz7ZLtEoRyDeA As it's been idle for 8 years it might warrant some regreasing in the gearbox, though it sounds okay to me and has never struggled to cycle.£50

I've achieved a mechanical lock in several ways, the simplest is superglueing on a fake domed rivet head (3d printed) to limit the movement of the selector switch. Seems to be accepted by the sites I frequent (albeit to be fair, so does an electronic lock via the FCU at those sites).

PVS-31 Digital NVG. Not as good as my Gen 3 PVS-14 but better than my Sionyx. Still needs a IR source for complete darkness but in low light they are very clear. Another nice touch is you can switch from green to Phos, B&W and a strange brownish colour. This is the Pro version so you can run off the external battery pack or run it on a single 14500 battery -
Can't decide between them, was wondering if anyone had any thoughts?
