Regarding the issue of "reduced" pricing, yep it's a big con, for example, if a large chain marks a particular item up at a higher price, & maintains that price for 28 consecutive days, they can then advertise it at a "sale" price, even if Joe Public thinks it's still overpriced. 

The loophole the bigger chains exploit is that they advertise it at the inflated price at only one location, usually their smallest outlet located in the back of beyond with barely any footfall, imagine a so called shop barely bigger than your average shed lol, usually attached to a delivery warehouse or similar, but by doing so it allows them to fiddle with the prices at every outlet they own at a later date.

We're just trying to help you reset your expectations. In that condition and without safe/semi auto settings, that's a project / parts / boneyard gun. And I say that as a happy owner of one - which also has that front end failure that they're prone to.

In the distant future, the day will come when this site finally shuts down; on that day, this advert will still be running.

In fact the item only has to be on sale in one branch of a chain for 28 days then it can be 'marked down' in all branches.  Also note they don't actually have to sell any at that price, it just has to be for sale at that price.   Shops have been know to get a small batch of something for one branch and mark em up while they await a large order to arrive which will be sold across the whole chain 28 days later at the real price. As for BBGuns. lol never buy from a shop with BB guns i or gunz in the name.

Have you been as honest as you can or as honest as you are willing to be? The right site for this gun is one that wouldn't allow it in the safe zone if marshals caught wind of its condition.  Without a functional safe mode, the gun is a liability in any designated safe zones, just one accidental or careless trigger pull from a stern warning or ban for the owner. It's not a support gun that marshals will look out for to see that you've disconnected the battery before entering the safe zone, regardess of the fact that you remove the mag first.

Nobody is "talking for the sake of talking" as you put it, nor are they "worse than tyre kickers". They're talking for the sake of looking out for novices and those otherwise unaware of what to look out for or the value of used airsoft kit, especially when they're guns that have structural and fucntional faults.

If somebody else was selling this, would you not think you are being charged a premium to take on a liability that will cost a lot to fix properly? This is why damaged/faulty cars or heavily indebted businesses sell for very little compared to whether those cars were in better working/cosmetic order or if the company wasn't in heavy debt.

 

Why do you keep boosting something that is never going to sell?

The best thing that you could do with this utterly broken toy would be to strip it down, salvage anything that is worth keeping and then cut the body up and put it in the bin.
