JRTIGHE
I'm looking at buying a black VFC SCAR-H. It will be my first gun (I've rented until now) and I'm buying it for a bit over £200. The owner says it's only about a month old. Has anyone encountered one of these before or better has anyone got one? I can't find many reviews on it and stuff. Thanks for any info you have in advance.
Supporters M_P Posted April 10, 2012 Supporters Share Posted April 10, 2012 It's the best scar apart from the TM ones, go for it.
Supporters Rock-climby-Dave Posted April 10, 2012 Supporters Share Posted April 10, 2012 No need for arguments, rather, kindly ask a mod to move the thread to the appropriate section if you are not aware how to do it yourself. and thank you marksman for a very quick and sensible response. VFC are nice. but nothing comes close to touching my TM scar H as far as performance OOTB is concerned (hell, even fiddling with a VFC scar for weeks wouldn't give my performance ) but, they are easy to come by for spares, fairly easy to work on (bar the bloody selector plate/ambi selector gears) and feel solid at a reasonable price, and really, that's what matters. JRTIGHE
Thanks for your contribution Dave, so for £210 with 4 spare mags this is a good deal? I don't know what they usually retail at because I can't actually find any in UK stores!
Supporters Rock-climby-Dave Posted April 10, 2012 Supporters Share Posted April 10, 2012 Seems reasonable to me http://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/vfc-...y-gen-iii-black
Supporters TPI Posted April 10, 2012 Supporters Share Posted April 10, 2012 i still stand by what i said. but a second hand VFC that it`s main selling point is it`s only a month old is one you will likely regret i mean just ask Airsoft-Ed about his 1! month old Barely Skirmished G&P M16
JRTIGHE
Seems like I'm getting a VERY good deal if that price from Fire Support is realistic. I think he said he paid around £300 for it though. Thanks for the help everyone.

Supporters TPI Posted April 10, 2012 Supporters Share Posted April 10, 2012 Altough saying that he could be a genuine guy so it could be a really good price!
lemon191
if you like it and have the money go for it just make sure you pay via paypal so if there is a problem that the seller didnt tell you about you have a chance at getting your monies back (or do a faceto face sale and check its in order before handing over) but the risk comes with all second hand sales more often than not they are perfectly fine and it all works out well however every now and then the risk doesnt pay off and you end up losing out thats life unfortunatly! JRTIGHE
Yeah I'm paying with PayPal so hopefully that should help. The guy seems decent too. I'll go with it.
