Austeyr Posted Friday at 16:49 Posted Friday at 16:49 Whilst I understand how dodgy the question sounds, I promise I'm not an up and coming road man spouting to anybody who will listen to give me their phone or I'll checks notes "chef mans up"??? I'm sure we've all seen the rubber knives that look like this: However I'm wondering if there's any better versions that are more "authentic" that are still airsoft safe? Something like the above. I have seen the "Cold Steel" ones but I'm not sure if they're airsoft safe as to my knowledge they have rods through the blade? It's more just for show than anything, however whilst my local is fine with me having real bayonets on gear (As long as it's cable tied so it can't be pulled out to "chef mans" who don't call hits!) I wouldn't mind the thought of going through a kill house with a rubber knife stuck on a 20" m16 🤔 HZR13 1
Barny Posted Friday at 17:08 Posted Friday at 17:08 Sadly they're not rubber, but TS Blades do some nice prop/training knives. I had one but lost it mid game...and it was a green handle so no luck finding it Austeyr 1

Hatchet Posted Saturday at 07:54 Posted Saturday at 07:54 Link above for the repro one looks good. Worth checking your site rules as I've been places where cold steel type rigid knives aren't allowed to be used for melee kills and only bendy rubber types are (assuming your site even allows knife/melee kills, some don't.). The other option if you're only using it for looks and not drawing it is just to get a sheath and a Kabar handle. HZR13 1

ButcherBill Posted Saturday at 19:16 Posted Saturday at 19:16 (edited) The bigger items have a wire core to support the shape but the L1A1 & SA80 one's I have are pure rubber. The SLR bayonet was straighter when I first got it. Edited Saturday at 19:19 by ButcherBill HZR13, Cannonfodder and Austeyr 2 1
