Saulito 01 Posted June 25 Posted June 25 Evening all. So I have moved to Dorset and my son and I are looking for new sites to play at. Having come from Bucks where we could use our DSR which are 450FPS. It looks like many here are either 350 or 425. I am near Shaftesbury but happy to travel for 60-75 minutes to find a site that will welcome us with our stuff. Any advice, guess if we cannot find anything we need to dial down our FPS. Cheers.

rj1986 Posted June 26 Posted June 26 Joys of gas sniper rifles is a super smooth and light bolt. My M40/m700 is so so so smooth, but too pretty and finicky for me to use on game days. But I personally would say its a BASR + can be upper joule limits.

StoveCap Posted June 26 Posted June 26 If the FPS is too hot and there's no adjustable power valves, the first thing is to try Duster gas instead of green gas if you haven't already done that. Then apart from DIY adjustments that i have no clue how to do, you could be a bit cheeky and just swap for a shorter barrel, but be careful of the greater joule creep even if the site dosen't measure by joule or account for it.
