Mik3F Posted Wednesday at 11:06 Share Posted Wednesday at 11:06 (edited) Does anyone know of any other brands other then EMP1 and Amarok that do a 250 round midcap magazine Ideally I am looking for ones with a round counter so I can see when they are running low I know EMP1 do this, but they are pricey Are they worth it? Looking to use in my Lancer tactical gen 3 Edited Wednesday at 11:07 by Mik3F
Supporters Adolf Hamster Posted Wednesday at 11:14 Supporters Share Posted Wednesday at 11:14 Round counter wise you can do tricks with the ammo loading. Eg stuff in 10 of your usual ammo weight, then a few lighter weight, then fill up. That way when you see rounds heading for space you know you're running low. The same can be done with tracer colours if your running one.
Fatboy40 Posted Wednesday at 12:19 Share Posted Wednesday at 12:19 (edited) No "counter" but a good alternative... https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/emg-230rnd-daniel-defense-mid-cap-magazine-for-m4-ar-15-6-pack ... but to honest the orange counter in the EPM1 is really only for guidance as it's (edit) inaccurate. I'd say overall the updated PTS EPM1 is still king for me. (Editing coz I can't spell / am stoopid) Edited Wednesday at 13:53 by Fatboy40
Mik3F Posted Wednesday at 12:24 Author Share Posted Wednesday at 12:24 I’ve ordered an EPM1 RX. let’s see if they are as good as they make out
Skara Posted Wednesday at 13:46 Share Posted Wednesday at 13:46 Keep in mind that past a certain bb threshold those mags really take a toll on AEG nozzles. ALL of them, some brands more than others but it's still an issue.

Why is that important, I would have thought the more tension in the spring the better for the feeding

Mik3F Posted Thursday at 16:40 Author Share Posted Thursday at 16:40 Its just arrived and I managed to load it fine with a normal speedloader, gets a little harder as it fills up Loaded it twice Will be intresting to see if my odin clone makes it easier to load when that arrives tomorrow ButcherBill

You can do that? As much as I tried I couldn't get any more than the 250 into it with the normal speedloader

Supporters Adolf Hamster Posted Friday at 05:07 Supporters Share Posted Friday at 05:07 A stub of inner barrel with a pin fitted in one emd can be used to make a de-loader, make it~60mm so 10 bbs can be popped out at a time without sending the whole mag contents flying
Mik3F Posted Friday at 20:37 Author Share Posted Friday at 20:37 Thats a good idea, I have a bag dumper tool, but that empties the entire mag On another note my odin clone arrived today and it loads the EPM1 RX mag with ease ButcherBill
