The_Lord_Poncho Posted Saturday at 14:25 Share Posted Saturday at 14:25 I'd second the recommendation for the AAP - they just work, and work rather well. They are very cheap, but will out perform pistols three times as expensive, and a plethora of after market parts for them means you can bling them out to your hearts desire if you ever feel the urge to splash the cash. If they really aren’t your thing, then WE Glock 17s and Glock 19s are reasonably well regarded (I have a couple, and they have been great - I confess to not knowing much about the G23you mention). As said, WE's do seem to be hit or miss sometimes, but their Glocks generally appear to have a good reputation. Mik3F

That's the beauty of the forums, we all go on buying sprees early on, often the biggest draw is looks or media coverage, in films & shows etc, but most members will tell you that your expensive pistol journey will be long, until eventually you'll use a TM, maybe a five minute loan on a site range, & you'll be like "why's nothing rattling when I shake it", or "how comes it's emptied the whole mag without venting gas", & "that's got a snappy kick" But coming here, you get to find out the shortcuts, save money & find a passion in pistols. I often wonder if when people say their pistol is just an accessory, barely touched on a gameday, is due to the fact it's lacklustre performance doesn't inspire them to use it more ? Cannonfodder Posted Saturday at 18:17 Share Posted Saturday at 18:17 Don't be surprised if your pistol becomes your primary in cqb as the smaller size over even a SMG means its easier to move through tight spaces I've owned a couple of WE gbb pistols but that's mainly down to being after a particular model nobody else makes rather than because they're WE. It's not that they're bad, but there's better out there 10 minutes ago, Mik3F said: Just confirmed a deal for https://airsoft-forums.uk/classifieds/item/59721-tokyo-marui-hi-cappa-43-with-maple-leaf-drop-in-barrelhop/ Hope ive not made a mistake with my choice As the seller states it's not the prettiest, but you cant go wrong with a TM and the Hi Cappa are a popular choice for a good reason Mik3F

Don't do it, they wobble in the holster, hit the mag release & bang, lost in undergrowth, you've no mag & new ones about £25-£30. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/315473449155?_skw=hi+capa+holster&epid=7033722926&itmmeta=01JJFFCZDDFHRMAZ3MGQ1VRG0Z&hash=item4973aed0c3:g:ln4AAOSwZgNmnqPv&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA8HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKn32a1IoxR7BSYW30dGVgJJgp3kLFo%2BbrAcRFs%2FN41HqOLdtCJzBPDHIpkij59XUKiB3JZIFLKyOyj1Si1v4hxtvDTU4IP9DnPtrwphTQZBiOaKc%2F1gy9BkIzCRDQ2RvIswNdmqqggJdNYN5669IkzrTTsKLfMuuVKzcrWdQon2hvvfq7JZYA0ou4dyU4KJ8i6fat4HQPot1vBcCDOf1M8n7L4Tie1VMXTPi4aVTVMFSzS7I5BVs8f5Bn5oyV80thyMYp4azsQxdMT2o4FbrwnjQJ%2BVseK1OlY2HhZXIKkcxA%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR4D3s--TZQ Galvatron, Mik3F and Rogerborg

Supporters Rogerborg Posted 10 hours ago Supporters Share Posted 10 hours ago You can try running it with the universal holster, although buying a retention holster is cheaper than losing a mag. You might be OK in CQB, as you're more likely to find or have the mags returned, and you'll be using it more often anyway. Or you could file your mag release down to reduce the chance of it dropping them. I do this as I run... "period" holsters.
