LazzurusMan
Quick question, is there any advantage in a gbbr going for a silicone bucking?
Fatboy40
Personally, in GBBP's, I've found they work quite well with heavy BB's. I've no evidence but I've a feeling that the lubricant in most commercial green gases takes the edge off of their grip so they work better than a traditional bucking due to this (they're bloody terrible in AEG's though, the grip on them is way to extreme). Impulse
I use them in everything that uses a VSR hop rubber and they work fantastically. I've got autobot buckings in my pistols and bolt actions and MR buckings in my GBBRs and all of them are great. However, I will echo @Fatboy40 above saying don't get the AEG ones. I tried the silicone super macarons and they were awful. Shots going all over the place! I might try the AEG silicone MR buckings just to try them, because the VSR ones are good, but the AEG silicone super macarons were a pile of wank so I wouldn't be surprised if the AEG MR ones were crap too. RostokMcSpoons
I can't remember what bucking I've got in my VFC HK416 now, but I remember trimming the rib off it. It's fine, but maybe I can do better... So, in the quest for any improvement in accuracy (for relatively sod-all outlay) I'd like to chuck the best one in ... can you post a link to your recommendation @Impulse ? Cheers! Justjay1986
I found them poor in an aeg (think that was said also) but in my TM MP7, phenomenal.
