So I'm going for a magpul style stock so my batteries now have ti fit in the buffer tube. I have an 11.1v lipo nuprol nunchuck style with the 3 separate cells. I can fit it in the buffer tube its not too tight they fit in but they are all touching each other and the buffer tube on all sides.

Is this safe?

As long as they're not being crushed, scuffed or otherwise damaged getting the battery in and out then yes, it'll be fine.

That's awesome thank you, also is it normal for the battery to get warm under use?

I don't mean burning hot or anything but just noticeably warmer to the touch after spamming semi and some burst fire

Yeah batteries will get warm when current is drawn they have resistance. You should only really worry if the battery gets burning hot or puffs up.

Yup, bear in mind that an 11.1V block battery is just 3 x 3.7V cells wrapped together.  You've got that, without the wrapping.
