Hi guys, was browsing my local shops website and the Armourer Works HX1103 caught my eye - anyone have any long term use experience or able to offer thoughts on the quality etc?

There not bad pistols, basically a WE with better quality control and fancy externals

I've been looking at them on Gunfire's website as well. Good to know what they're like quality-wise.

WE is the OEM for most (if not all) of the AW pistols so most of the aftermarket parts will work. As with all things there are a couple of exceptions (such as some of the aftermarket slide locks on the hi-capa) that don’t work very well (or at all!!).

Hi,

Yes, i use the ne1004 mini 1911 and its good. Build quality seems very good and it has a snappy action. So far im impressed with it.

had one of their commander 1911s. It kicked hard, shot great but was hit and miss if it would have enough gas to finish a mag.

I have one of these:

Which is a split slide version of what you're looking at, I think.
It is FUCKING AWESOME.
There, I said it.
No, it's not a TM. But it's still awesome.
Sips gas, crazy rate of fire and cycle speed and very accurate.
Just a really, really nice gun to use - always puts a smile on my face and is always the pistol my son asks for if he's given access to the armoury ?
