emilianoksa Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 Can this be successfully applied to pot metal parts on pistols. There's a firm in Preston that offers this service - Liquid Steel Designs I believe its called. Or would anodising be good. Its a bit cheaper.
Supporters Adolf Hamster Posted July 30, 2018 Supporters Posted July 30, 2018 maybe ask the guy that does the custom gbb thread? he seems to know his stuff.
Root Admin proffrink Posted July 30, 2018 Root Admin Posted July 30, 2018 Yes, it can be. Be aware though that a high quality finish like that will show up any scratches, dents, corrosion etc. underneath and given its price you might want to invest in a higher quality slide first.
emilianoksa Posted July 31, 2018 Author Posted July 31, 2018 Thanks. I was thinking of my WE G!ock17 slide. But all the upgrade slides i have seen for it havecut out sections to make them lighter. Not keen on slide cutouts.
clumpyedge Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 If you want this type of work done have a look at FMJ Firearms on facebook, the specialize in firearms and also do A LOT of airsoft stuff and general bits and pieces.
Root Admin proffrink Posted July 31, 2018 Root Admin Posted July 31, 2018 If we're making recommendations, I've sent a lot of stuff in to: http://www.hi-speccoatings.co.uk/ Never had an issue and they were relatively well priced.
