Eenthuncob Posted August 15, 2017 Posted August 15, 2017 Hi all. This mate have been covered before but I'd like to get other people's thoughts on this, I was at Humber airsoft on Sunday and for the first couple of games I used .25G to get rid of. After I switched to .28G and there seemed to be a big improvement on range and accuracy does anyone else find this? I use a Krytac SPR if anyone asks.
Root Admin proffrink Posted August 15, 2017 Root Admin Posted August 15, 2017 This has been covered - a lot. Please use the search for more info. I believe there was a discussion on heavier BBs and flight times etc. just last week, so it can't be far.

Mostly Retired Moderators L3wisD Posted August 15, 2017 Mostly Retired Moderators Posted August 15, 2017 I had a status only yesterday about this. I've always used .25g out of habit, but played at Dorking Sunday with .30g all day. And the improvement was huge. Accuracy and range were massively improved. If you've got the power and the hop capable of handling .30g, give them a go. They price is a little more, but it's worth it. But also, 6mm Ammo sell .30g in 1kg bags for 10.95 - might be worth trying a bag at that price?
Root Admin proffrink Posted August 15, 2017 Root Admin Posted August 15, 2017 But please crono your gun in Joules rather than just ft/s or you'll leave yourself open to Joule creep and only crono with the weight you intend to use even if they throw a .2 in it to crono on site.
Eenthuncob Posted August 15, 2017 Author Posted August 15, 2017 Thought it would have been covered before, will give .30g ago next time I'm out.
