Parcelforce Import Service Fees Changing a Bit

With effect from the 7th August 2017 we are changing our custom clearance fee charges for express and standard parcels to £11.25 and £25.00 for high value goods (valued at over £873).

 

Basically instead of express packages costing £13.50 and standard packages costing £8, both will now cost £11.25. Gripping news I know.

For most couriers you won't get that choice. EMS, Hong Kong Post etc. all use Parcelforce or Royal Mail when it lands in the UK and everyone knows all the good airsoft shit is from Taiwan, Hong Kong or Japan :)

 

Also, AFAIK UPS are just as expensive as PF when it comes to import service charges.

That's not entirely fair, if you duty due is 2-5% you save money on goods over £500.
