I'm looking for a good woodland gun for under £200 can go £250 if needed. Preferably in a m4 style. Feel like I need more range to play at my site because of people with highly upgraded guns any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Not an M4, but go with the Cyma M14, excellent overall performance for the cost.

thanks for the advice could you maybe send a link to the website?

Did you try a switch to .25g like suggested or did that not work?

In regards to the CYMA, you can get them cheap here http://www.taiwangun.com/en/electric-air-soft-guns/cm-032-black-style-cm?from=listing&campaign-id=19 plus they'll downgrade it for free if needed. Instead of the £35 zeroone charge

Those Cyma M14s are nice guns, I know a chap who has just swapped the hop rubber to a TM one and fitted a tight bore barrel and he has one of the best effective ranges on an AEG that i've seen.

They are becoming quite popular. Lots of bang for your buck.
