Hello all,

I am Spaz. Here's a little bit about me. I am 18 years old, born in the States, but have lived and been across the world. I am a huge WWII nerd, specialising on tanks and planes, as well as ships. In terms of Airsoft, I first played Airsoft in a friend's backyard in Tennessee when I was 11. I bought my first airsoft gun while I lived in Singapore, and it was crap. But since airsoft and RIFs are illegal in SG, I took what I could get and ran around in my complex's basement playing tag with it. It was a little cheap springer pistol, and shot around 150 FPS. When I moved to the UK, a friend of mine got me back into airsoft with his B500 from JBBG. I bought a WELL P90, and we had some backyard fun. I bought the B500 off of him when he moved, and started hosting games with local kids and people from my school. After I saved up enough, I bought my first entry level gun as a present to myself around 8 months ago. It's a G&G GBB CM16 Raider. I also bought a WE P226 GBB a bit before that. Recently, I acquired a ACM AEG P90 from a member of this site, and around a week ago got myself an ACM AEG MP40 from here as well. Some people might say I am kind of sponsored when it comes to Airsoft... Some people on this forum know about Safariland and Holster Ops, and they send me kit and such from time to time. In fact, I know Bill Rogers, the guy who invented the Kydex Holster and the ALS Holster. He also sent me a WE G17 GBB that he installed a high-vis tiridium front sight on. I have been to The Mall twice, and as the temperatures warm up, may get to some other sites as well. although I have been around the site for about a month now, giving advice on whatever I could, I figured I'd do an info post about me here as well...

*Note

I am sure I am going to get a ton of hate for getting guns off of JBBG, I know they suck, but I haven't ever had any issues with them; the B500 I have is completely stock and still works after almost 3 years. I don't buy from them nowadays though...

As a WW2 nerd, it would be a good idea to check out ww2airsoft.org.uk

Next ww2 game is at the end of Feb at Combat south (near Portsmouth), there are German spaces left and I am sure someone will lend you a uniform if you ask nicely.

You won't get any flak from me about using a BB gun site. I know it's kind of trendy on here to slag them off, and not always without some justification, since a lot of their stuff is indeed crap, and I'm a bit dubious about them all simply having a tick box for the 'I am over 18' requirement, which I doubt prevents minors from buying stuff off there, but if you know what you are buying, they are often the cheapest to get stuff from, which is why I've bought stuff from them on many occasions. I've never actually bought anything off JBBG, but I've had of stuff from OnlyBBguns, BBGuns4Less and BBGuns365, and I've never had any reason to complain about any of their service. In fact, I've been highly impressed with it on more than one occasion. They've usually delivered stuff in 2-3 days, postage was often free, email contact was good, they even phoned me once to say something was not in stock, and as I was on the phone to them, the guy saw one was on a shelf in the shop, so he boxed that one up, and I had it the next day.

Anyway, belated Welcome Aboard :)

Yea, I've been down by Combat South when I went to see Bovington Tank Meuseum. Unfortunately, as I don't drive, I am limited to my travels, and the trains to Reading are already a push...

There is bound to be someone able to pick you up. It never hurts to ask, thats why most WW2 games will have a thread for asking about car shares etc. Being a rather niche activity, you will find that WW2 airsofters are even more friendly and helpful than normal airsofters.
