Supporters M_P Posted November 19, 2013 Supporters Posted November 19, 2013 Too far for me to go to but it's nice to see companies that run other sites like Xsite and FS supporting this, good luck.
Spawnah Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 I've love to come but it's too far away for me. Hope all goes well though!
Supporters Ian_Gere Posted November 20, 2013 Supporters Posted November 20, 2013 Too short notice for me to arrange the money that a trip that far would need, b/c it'd be an overnighter for me or i'd be too f*cough*ed to skirmish. I might have just about moved heaven & earth, but nary a mention of vegetarian food or non-caffeine drinks...
clumpyedge Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 dammit i would have loved this!!! alas like a few people distance is an issue edit: saying that an hour and half isnt that bad....
Loki7491 Posted November 20, 2013 Author Posted November 20, 2013 As with all our events, you will be asked about food allergies at time of booking.... We have had individual meals for vegan, veggie and gluten free in the past - we are not monsters!!!! I can appreciate the distance thing - I used to drive back from Germany to play every so often. It is a royal pain in the neck.
DX115FALCON Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 I'm Scottish. No chance of me getting down there.
Loki7491 Posted November 20, 2013 Author Posted November 20, 2013 That just shows a lack of commitment!!!!! By the time you add your costs together you could probably donate £300, not leave your home and STILL be financially better off! You sir, have a fair and valid reason!
Supporters Ian_Gere Posted November 21, 2013 Supporters Posted November 21, 2013 NAE12 - I travelled from Nottingham to Ringwood and back with all my camping and skirmishing gear on public transport. I've already budgeted the money I'll have between now and Dec 8th though and spent money that I would have needed to have paid bills with, in order to be able to change plans.
