Techno
Buying an upgraded L96 soon and wondering what would be the best brand of 0.36g bb's to get and what website to get them from? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Supporters Liam Porter Posted September 23, 2012 Supporters Share Posted September 23, 2012 I've tried MadBull .36s, and didn't like them much. They weren't very consistent or accurate. The best BBs I've used in my L96 are Guarder .40s, which I got from my local site (FFZ). I have a suggestion, rather than make multiple topics and post in multiple threads, why not just make one thread asking all your questions related to your L96? Smit100345
zeroone airsoft sell good .36 ammo its very good quality and dirt cheap compared to any other high weight ammo out there. also a reliable seller usually get it to you in less than two days after order

Techno
im not gonna be upgrading power only hop up so im not sure whether it'll lift 0.40g bb's. Also how much good would a systema bucking do or should I stick with a Madbull red with the stock nub, and how good are Kingarms 0.36g bb's cos I can get them real cheap? Cheers
Supporters Airsoft-Ed Posted September 24, 2012 Supporters Share Posted September 24, 2012 What sniper are you getting? 'Cos if it's a VSR or something that comes shooting at under 450fps, you might not even be able to use .36s because without a power upgrade as well, the spring won't be able to propel them hard or fast enough for them to get them anywhere, regardless of how good your hop is. Techno
Its a well L96 mb-01 that shoots 450 fps stock. im gonna stick in a aspuk hop unit, madbull 499mm 6.03mm barrel, barrel spacers, a madbull red bucking and a systema bucking aswell (gonna see which ones better). Should i use .40g's or .36g's? BTW im gonna get a SCS nub to try with the Systema bucking

Supporters M_P Posted September 24, 2012 Supporters Share Posted September 24, 2012 Get some of each as see which you work best for you. I've just finished a pot of mad bull which were okayish, nothing to boast about so to speak. Guarder are a good bet on heavier weights. Best thing to do is try a few different brands ans weights and find the best in your gun.
Techno
I think I'll go with the Guarder.36g bb's. Do you now any websites I can get them from?

Techno
What about Zeroone .36g's or Kingarms .36g's? whih is better? I can get them at about the same price as each other and much cheaper than Guarder .36g's.
Supporters M_P Posted September 26, 2012 Supporters Share Posted September 26, 2012 I used some KA .25's (I think) a while back, had no issues with them. Zero one bb's aren't great. I'd go for guarders. Its a sniper rifle, not an lmg so its not like you'll get through them very quickly anyway.
Techno
I suppose, though I'm thinking of keep my sniper stock til christmas and getting my first gbb cos I'll have no sidearm else. Any gbb's you recommend under £150? I've heard some great things about TM and KWA gbb's. BTW my favourite model is the M1911
