Hi all, I don’t know if I’m simply not searching for the right thing or using a wrong search term as I’m not finding as much as I thought I would. Ive got a G&G GR16 for my boy who’s just starting out, but it’s got a standard M4 handguard and solid stock on it (was wondering in a raffle, not chosen) I want to put a RIS/Picatinny handguard on the front, and hopefully a buffer tube and sliding stock on the back end rather than the solid stock. Can anyone point me in the direction of somewhere in the UK that can provide the handguard and buffer tube? Unsure if they need to be specific G&G or not tbh. Thanks

Not sure if I've missed a notification here but the search results in the website only seem to go back as far as August. I've got as far back as 11th August after a few checks but not further. I wonder if we lost some search functionality when the patches/upgrades happened on the website in the summer. A simple workaround is to just use Google and click on the "more results from airsoft-forums.uk" link. I mention it here in case it's a simple fix like a search reindex or something like that needed.

@Tommikka - Just had a search of Laysick, is this company still around as cant find any available trousers apart from two Ebay listings? Did a bit more of a search and looks like theres not really much option for thick trousers in the airsoft/paintball range. I may need to do some more digging around this as this would be the last thing I need to start skirmishing as I know which face mask I am getting. The only thing I can think of is getting airsoft trousers and have slide shorts underneath/joggers and slide shorts underneath. @Tommikka - All these trousers I see sort similar to this without any padding: https://www.airsoftzone.co.uk/gen-2-elite-tactical-trousers-with-knee-pads-v-cam-black-viper-tactical.html

(I did search before posting and am surprised no one has asked before) Wouldn't it be a good idea to add an Auction section in the Classifieds? for people like myself who have boxfulls of stuff to move on. Or would it be too difficlt to integrate it with the site?

I don’t I’m afraid but just go into any SportsDirect, or similar, or search online via Amazon, and you’ll be able to pick one up easily enough.

£55 when a quick Google search shows similar for £10-£15 -
I don’t think that the most ‘modern’ designs go for as much padding with some trends towards ‘jogger’ style, and in some cases they may be less likely to advertise features as ‘padding’ due to some of the more serious tournament rule wording on clothing, eg you can wear two layers of clothing which includes counting the bounce vest and/or slide shorts - if it’s a thick quilted materiel on the trousers then that’s just hard wearing materiel and not extra soft padding to promote bounce rather than bursting paintballs My ‘best’ ones don’t appear to be on the market anymore, and at the time a few years back were highly pricey at £200+ or even more- but I didn’t pay that - I won a pair in a raffle. I also would not have chosen the colour scheme which was (supposed to be) very white but for me was promptly stained by dirt & grass They were low slung in the crotch, combined with thick quilted material plus a extra front panel to clip across and another internal crotch panel of foam like materiel Thick all over for general padding, extra layers at the crotch, stretchy in areas and didn’t let in the wet when Knealt on wet astroturf or muddy puddles No endorsement on any of the following but a search of the Laysick name should show a few similar looking designs with extra crotch, Angel can cover some old school designs, Dye, Empire & exalt have some handy ones but beware of too lightweight and joggers Anthrax can be useful, and if you can handle Photoshop you can get fully / partial custom design prints (Ask for templates, do your own design and unless you use their consultancy design they don’t much different to just buying new off the shelf https://www.anthraxpaintball.com/custom-paintball-pants

@Tommikka - Thank you for the suggestions Tomm! Are these any brands for trousers you recommend? (Paintball and non paintball) Just did a quick search on paintball trousers and doesn't seem that there are long trousers with padding around thighs, I only see the shorts.

Are you specifically after the Cybergun version of the P90 or will any clone of the original TM P90 be suitable? You can also search for the D90 (licensing issues on the P90 name) and save yourself a few pennies if you don't need anything officially licensed. https://www.airsoftdb.com/search/?q=D90&r=uk&s=t

Anyone have experience with BunkerKings CMD full face mask?
Tommikka replied to Chai.'s topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
I’m not familiar with anywhere out there where you could browse a shop A web search shows Platoon stores and Modern Warrior have airsoft shops, full goggle ranges are less likely as these look to be airsoft shops rather than mixed or paintball. Skirmish Billericay has a photo implying a bit of an airsoft shop. I have played there in the past but don’t know if they would have much stock for goggles -
Airsoft site in London which is approved under UKARA
Galvatron replied to carpio's topic in General Discussion
In all likelihood you'll have to search further afield of Greater London. With a premium for leasing/buying property or suitable woodland, running an airsoft site in London isn't sustainable. Bunker 51 closed down a few months ago. It's worth checking this site out: https://playairsoft.uk/map It's not an exhaustive list but there are options just outside Greater London accessible by public transport and a shortish taxi journey away (I assume you don't drive). -

As seems to often happen, I found myself back at Airsoft Plantation this morning. Tomo and Dan were absent, so I teamed up with a few other players I know. As we went out for the first game, a player's battery started smoking; this was dealt with efficiently and effectively by the marshals. The first game was a simple attack and defend in the woods (yay!). As the attackers, we had infinite regens on a marshal, while the defenders had two lives, one defending the wobbly bridge and the other defending a flag at long walk (it is called long walk because it is a long walk from the start point at the other end of the woods). Starting off on the left flank of our attack, I took out a few defenders and was then hit, so went in search of a marshal; having found one, I decided to move to the right flank as the woodland there is more open and easier to attack through. A large group of us swung wide to the right, hugging the edge of the playing area and pushing across the ditch just before the smoke grenade on wobbly bridge was detonated. With the first objective achieved, we continued our flanking movement, ending up attacking the flag at 90 degrees from our line of advance; it was secured and the game ended. The game was then turned around. I took up a position on the far right where a collection of fallen trees and a couple of ditches offer a number of interconnected positions. Early on, a couple of enemy players came by; I let them go past and then shot them from a distance, so that they would not know where the shots had come from. Soon after, a group of about 12 appeared; I let them go past and shot the rearmost four. The others went to ground; I potted a couple of them and could hear the others discussing where I was. This seemed to be a good time to reposition by using the cover of the ditch and the trees to fall back towards my colleagues. Unfortunately, as I moved back, one of those colleagues shot me by mistake, so I started the long walk to long walk, where I took up a position that covered both the flag and one of the main avenues through the woods. The latter provided a target rich environment and the MC51 scored a large number of hits before the flag was captured. I stayed out on the field, sitting on the bridge at the border, as the next game would see us attacking the village from there and I still had plenty of ammo. Other players eventually came out, as did a couple of marshals; from their radio chatter, it was apparent that they were looking for someone who was believed to still be out in the woods, possibly hurt. As I know them, I asked one of them who they were looking for; he looked at me, did a double take and said "you". Apparently, the guys had become concerned that I had not appeared in the safe zone and had told the marshals, who came looking for me. Anyway, for the next game, we had to get bombs to three targets in the village; we could regen on one of two marshals, one on the border and one on the firebreak, while the defenders had two lives. A group of us attacked along our right, overcoming determined opposition from two buildings before attacking across the conveniently dry pond to take the building behind it and move into that part of the village. The three targets were bombed in due course by part of our team who had swung right round the village and attacked from the rear, so we returned to the safe zone to take luncheon. Having dined and, as ever, marvelled at how Emily efficiently feeds so many players, the previous game was reversed. Defending the front edge of the village, I potted a good number of attackers before I was hit and fell back into the village woods to defend against any enemy attacking from the rear; quite a lot of them were and we had some great exchanges before they finally blew up the three targets. For the final game, both teams had to blow up a target in their opponents' base. Our target was the Bedford in the mortar pits, while theirs was the plane at the DEA base. Everyone could regen after falling back 30m and high fiving a colleague. I was with the group defending the plane; as the enemy could attack it from a 270 degree arc, we sent out a lot of small fighting patrols to intercept them, leading to many confused and messy encounters in the scrub. In one, I spotted a couple of chaps moving through the scrub; I shot the rearmost one and his companion and I exchanged shots, hitting each other. We shook hands and went to find colleagues to regen on; a marshal who had seen the encounter noted it as being a gentlemanly exchange. Eventually, the game timed out with neither side achieving their objective. It was an excellent, if rather warm and very humid, day of airsoft, with around 150 players present and some great play on both sides. It will probably be a while before I can play again, as I will be on Dartmoor next weekend (Hurrah!) and then have various other weekend commitments involving rehearsals and festival appearances. However, if I can squeeze a day in somewhere, I will. Weapons used Classic Army MC51 JG SA58 ASG XP18 Commander (CO2)

The 'What have you just bought' Thread

I'll take my passport with me this time... might help avoid another cavity search. -
How short? My recommendation from above still stands https://www.femmefataleairsoft.co.uk/search?q=plate+carrier Kelly isn't exactly the tallest girl in the world! What have you already tried? Also, to be fair, pretty much all actual tactical gear is aimed at the male frame because that is the main customer base. Apart from that most of the Chinese clones of Crye gear tend to be sized off the small size plate bags. If they're still too big then I'd say go down the chest rig route instead.

Looks like a secutor velites variant from a quick Google search which are a rebrand of golden eagle shotguns which are pretty highly rated. Can't find that exact model though.

Hi All, Tried to search but couldn't find a topic on this Recently picked up a Gas M870 shottie that shoots in either 3 or 6 shots When I chronoed at home was putting out 5J on green gas on 3 shot - I've tried then to chrono with just 1 bb which was still showing 2.5j until I moved slightly further back (2-3inches - oooh errrr) from the chrono - then was getting 1J. I assume this was the unspent gas also exiting the muzzle and entering the chrono - skewing the data. My question: How do most sites chrono shotguns on the day? Want to try out my new toy - but dont want to be hit with a silly 20m MED because the chrono isn't reading right Cheers!

Hey there I'm posting this thread to see how many people would be interested in AK to NATO thread adapters. Either 24 or 22 down to 14ccw for NATO muzzle devices. I've got access to a lathe and need one myself as one of the AK muzzle brakes I ordered is in 14ccw so disappointingly doesn't fit my AK. Had a quick google search and most results either came up out of stock or overpriced for what they are. It's completely possible I'm searching in the wrong place but regardless, is this something any of you lot are interested in? -Small note to mods, not selling as of yet but if this takes off I will take this to the classifieds : ) Maybe you're in the same situation as me or you think you'd like the look of your Russian RIF with that NATO can (looking cool is 90% of this hobby) or you feel like doing something just outright cursed to your AK. The other way is also an option, 14ccw up to 24/22. Just here to gauge interest at the moment so no promises. Thank you for any feedback you guys can give me. Hell, even some pointers on some that are in stock. If so, I'm UK based. I'm aware of the Ares Amoeba adapters (22 to 14) but I feel like if they did fit AK muzzles, they'd be marketed as being useful for that aswell(?) if you catch my drift

Yes, its likely the battery isn't powerful enough. Look for a 7.4v LiPo with the highest mAh (How long it lasts) and C (Max burst power) rating you can find that will fit in the battery space. All the usual places I would look (Turnigy/HobbyKing/ComponentShop) seem to be out of stock ? But remember you'll also need a decent charger to make sure charge is optimal. Do a search on the forum as chargers have been discussed before. Also consider changing connectors to DEANS (T-plugs) for best current flow. EDIT THIS battery should work (check size) THIS charger (or similar) is the most basic THIS charger is good and a good price but note that it needs the DEANS connector on the battery.
