  1. Well I was thinking of getting an electric pistol but concerned about fps of Cyma's So I sorted of created my very own secondary machine pistol so to speak but with high cap mag: bought the testicle mag - a tiny bit of work but nothing major - runs well - F*ck yeah !!!! needs new batteries to keep up but as a pistol - well it does weigh a little bit - lol gotta refit stubby stock back on her but was just messing around - next door must love me soz for small pic - can't be ar$ed to upload it to here n there n link n stuff just for my silly stuff I am having trouble finding a holster for this pistol though ???
  2. Resident Evil 1 - not game to play @ 2:00am scared the crap out of me didn't like Silent Hill either on psx - jeeeeezzzzz them games were scarey YOU DIED - no $hit sherlock/capcom
  3. Raider long barrel - all I can find atm in stock online is LWA and TAN ONLY - black out of stock http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/airsoft-weapons-c38/electric-rifles-c45/combat-machine-cm16-raider-l-dst-p1482 Raider short barrel - UK Airsoft but never used these guys before http://uk-airsoft.myshopify.com/collections/g-g-combat-machine/products/g-g-combat-machine-cm16-raider only seem to have short barrel like I said http://uk-airsoft.myshopify.com/products/g-g-combat-machine-cm16-raider numerous places look to have them but when you click they on back order, presume summer holidays & NAE is to blame airsoftworld.net might have them but £140 surplusstore want £150 or more i think ffs
  4. Raider's are better but out of stock in most places..... looking at £125 aprox for Raider short/long barrel - but has rails the carbine - no rails £100 and would prefer clear over 2tone anyday bit dodgy but clear "can" be painted better coz you give it coating inside as well as outside to ensure paint don't come off or chip easily but suppose you "could" gently remove the 2tone paint at later stage if UKARA Zero One seem to have pulled a lot of stock for the NAE they might have raider but many places are out - or if lucky to find one they wan't a bit more for it or extra for 2 tone etc...... but the £99:99 carbine in clear is worth considering - heck I would get 1 or 2 if I didn't have so many guns already - would keep it as a spare/backup in my bag or get it for 3 months to obtain UKARA - over 18's, then perhaps spray/replace a few bits - or sell it or still keep as spare if a m8 comes along etc....... wish I bought 1 or 2 of these instead of crappy bulldog/dragon - live n learn I guess
  5. stumped....... spring looks in position - so it ain't that come out of alignment can' think wtf could be doing this - it should just be a pin so it shouldn't be catching - and it just a round bar pin..... maybe ask somebody like samurai who knows a thing or two about gearbox ???
  6. http://www.proairsoftsupplies.co.uk/cgi-bin/sh000001.pl?WD=carbine&PN=cm16_carbine_transparent.html#SID=239 battery + charger - smart charger which prevents overcharging/cooking battery - both together £25 (probably nunchuck 8.4v battery) you get 1k bb's i think - 450 mag, it ain't glow in dark orange (could paint it but that is changing a Imitation Firearm IF - RIF Realistic one in eyes of law) save rest of money and see how you go - no real need for pistol - may wanna spend on extra mag or loadout kit - full face protection must be worn for under 18's at most sites don't chance it - get a good one for your precious eyes shame that gun had a great starter kit for £20 more - about £35 value but lately always out of stock there is NO OTHER GUN to match it for price - ok no rails but trust me you won't need much else if you can't hit something with that then you may as well just use a nerf gun forget ultra zoom scope, torche, or laser - get out there and start shooting
  7. Well I got a ticket for zero woodland I think but kinda fell on its ar$e like I said so went to epsom bunker instead as wasn't gonna drive like nearly 2hrs if nobody was going to zero my usual TWA is on Saturday so may pop along for half day - £10 not sure if I'm going back to bunker just yet but free ticket from zero one gun I bought is valid for 6 months (cost me more if fuel ffs but I will go) other people were either working or couldn't get there - so kinda gave up the following Sunday to Sandpitt Dartford and now we have 10th August upon us
  8. some cqb sites actually have a 328fps or 330fps limit - 100m/sec coz cqb is just that less than 20ft engagement usually and any decent site SHOULD chrono guns..... no point having a powerful gun you can't use, and fps is just a basic starting guide your site might be 350 but if you visit another indoor cqb it maybe a tad too hot some decent 300fps can pi$$ all over badly setup 350fps Tokyo Marui is a prime example
  9. Was it a tan G&G and you sprayed it black using something like fishnet stockings ??? I just tore my favourite pair..... WWWWOOPPPPSSSSS - wrong forum, thought I was on another site - lol just kidding, ignore me - most people do or just plain cross the street to avoid me Jeez - she didn't half give you a funny look who - that bird that just walked past ??? No - Mother Nature
  10. the gun you are using will sort of dictate what battery you require if you have a crane stock - the MOST LIKELY the battery will be in there (not always the case - some guns with crane can still have battery at front handguard) if you have crane - AND BATTERY IS IN THERE then nunchuck is what you require nunchuk types can be used in many guns - even front handguard ones usually unless you buy something like MP5 or FireHawk that may require a stick battery Raider will have crane and battery at back I think - stock is low on many sites coz they got rails Carbine - no rails and battery up at front - in stock at many places and a tiny bit cheaper battery on carbine is at front hanguard - well in general unless spec has changed nunchuk you looking at is a 3 + 1 + 3 - the one in centre - hmmmm maybe a 4 + 3 layout will be better I would tend to think & should fit up front/back whatever or 4+4 = 9.6v but this is getting a bit on the powerful side and if you really have room component shop or ebay - or component shop on ebay - should get a battery + smart charger for £15 + £10 = £25 - smart charger would stop your normal nimh cooking with cheapo charger (smart chargers should stop charging when complete - but always keep an eye when charging batteries) Lipo is another option but different charger or a more deluxe one that does all types - but as always you need to check if batteries YOU buy will fit/work with YOUR gun..... I mean if you are that pushed and got a battery that don't fit/too big you can get by by taping it on side of stock/receiver, many do this to get them out the crap when needed guessing is not good idea - measure if unsure, digital vernier/caliper guage for about £4 is a real help when buying extra batteries that may/may not fit..... blimey - mega waffle about batteries and you ain't even bought gun yet - soz for going on
  11. remove hop up too ??? (some of them can restrict the gearbox coming out - so remove lower hop-up if a 2piece one is used) any pics ??? also what lead up to this - did she just seize up or you just clean/upgrade/replace bits ? just trying to suss if something broke n jammed or bearing just fell to bits etc......
  12. first computer ZX81 1kb base mem but did upgrade to wobbly 16kb ram pack eventually got ZX80 whilst awaiting speccy delivery - jeez what a long wait years later got microdrives & QL etc..... Sadly flogged all my stuff when fell on harder times first video game - before Atari VCS 2600 there was numerous Video games way way overpriced to play tennis & basic shooting the big square dot on screen some systems you could buy/build from places like Maplin before they hit the high street The say the first so called arcade video game was by atari - breakout and it was said they had to repair it in less than 24hrs of installing it the coin box mechanism broke as it just couldn't handle the amount of cash rest is history and I'm way too old for this $hit
  13. battery options are limited due to thin stick battery type in stock tube plus can be a bit fiddly to get battery in the 8itch hence I shoved a stubby fixed one instead: http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/3820-gun-picture-thread/page-125#entry154672 now I can just use any battery I can find lipo/life/nimh etc...... lipo's are great but options are limited voltage wise - 7.4v or 11.1v - or 9.9v life battery I still sometimes use some decent 8.6v or 9.6v batteries. like I said your main problem is limited battery space/options out of box, but I plan to either fit the FH stock to another M4 front handguard battery gun or sell it complete with tube love my stubby - lost some sex appeal - well I lost that years ago, but at least the FH can run with almost any battery now - so it is a possible consideration I think - stubby is fixed but same size as G&G VS02 stock that was on there
  14. well it ain't no dmr and is really for cqb but suppose also it has an advantage in that it could be easier to shortcut through bushes easier than a big m16 getting caught up perhaps looks sexy but friggin loud with flash hider but then it is not designed for long range I've remove the stock and put on a fixed cheapo stubby so can take any battery hate all that pi$$balling about with thin lipo stick range wise not much less accurate than a normal stock m4 in same price range bought it coz I liked the sexy black 8itch - didn't buy it to snipe with I bought it to take her out and help take others out so to speak..... despite being small and a fair bit of plastic not full metal she weighs a bit but I feel just right to run with all day in the sun..... I got an ICS clear sportsline and they kind of perform the same - maybe ICS a bit more longer range accurate but c'mon the fire hawk just looks so sexy & bad ass
  15. I would of thought pistol grip/motor area is main area for concern many are sealed - some are vented/heatsink at bottom but that is a nice possible collection point for water with a lovely bit of motor/electrics thrown in for good measure too...... you can tape up and/or apply some grease to terminals to prevent corrosion if you are that worried but the most important thing to apply is common sense really....... Most of it may be woodland - I don't know but not complete open fields perhaps, so you are not out in wide open - also doubt if it really pi$$es down for too long will skirmish continue in a mud bath or cetainly not wise to continue whilst a humid summer thunderstorm is kicking off. presume you are in Ireland or N Scotland: Weather Warning - Issued by the Met Office - Sunday 3rd August 2014 YELLOW WARNING of RAIN An area of persistent and at times heavy rain will continue to move north across parts of northern England, Northern Ireland and much of Scotland. Winds will become strong, with a risk of gales over coasts and hills. The public should be aware of the risk of localised flooding and of disruption to transport. Jeez strong winds or gales - that means ya BB's are gonna be way off target at times pi$$ing down at times - yeah sounds fun flooding/transport disruption - yeah nice journey home too check it out in morning - look for cqb or man up and say wtf a little water never hurt anybody best of luck
  16. A torch certainly helps in you get lost in dark playing some darker games... once or twice I had to feel my way back for a few yards saying: "dead man walking - dead man lost - dead man can't see a f*cking thing where he is going" Yeah the torch in gameplay is a trade off for giving yourself away - but if you come to crossroad or junction - how can you tell if enemy is down that dark tunnel either... At least one regular had a really pukka torch at end of barrel - think it might have been in flash hider or barrel & a switch coz saw him point & flash on/off quickly as he was moving about checking But at least keep something to hand/pocket even those windup hand kiddy torches would be something if you keep kissing the dark walls Chrono - well I like to think it may have been an oversight or foolishly forgot - most were regs or hire guns but they had it out - jeez my site TWA are absolutely $hit hot on this - morning/lunch time they chrono any joiners & mark gun to prove it was chrono'd. One time gun jammed and got another exact ICS out but nope HAS to be chrono'd by marshall - and on occasions they make you use their M4 mag with 0.20g's in to help ensure people don't cheat chrono running .30's etc..... Coz of this, I tend to expect chrono at any site I visit - yes chrono is only a rough starting guide a well setup 300fps can travel/hurt more than a crap 350fps aeg but it is a rough guide to ensure we are all running with "similar" $hit so to speak Anything at 10 or 20 feet will sting a bit depending on a few things but it would offer some assurance to all players if we chrono'd our $hit - otherwise I might as well take along a 450fps CO2 pistol and all that and other guy then gets out a DMR on full auto - nah crazy $hit we don't need I look at Epsom as say a kind of full contact site - like in martial arts Many years ago I went from normal martial arts - no not f*ckin girly self defense but half decent style and went to a kick boxing - well it was at our dojo & some yank ran it - jeez I thought I could take a kick but this was full on - picked me up and transported me a way still attached to guys foot !!!!! yeah I only did that twice and thought - forget that crap - lol Well that is how I view Epsom and/or some other bunker/tunnel skirmishes - dark and full auto mostly at close range - not your 25m shots like most other sites BUT hopefully when I next go I will see them chrono all guns first - or I will get lit up for writing this about them that was my only real concern - plus get a back plate next time
  17. More info on hopup would be good please and note to oneself: I'm gonna stay away from any sites in Exeter now you got your sniper set up real sweet
  18. it is the same on ALL forums - and I too have judged books by their covers - we all tend to do that I'm afraid but we should try and NOT rip the hell out of people too much if their answer is different to our own... I have been ripped to hell on on totally different forums at first but only now after hundreds and hundreds of posts and such are some people actually starting to listen to me and perhaps try the techinque/method I may suggest NO - I don't know everything - heck I am still learning like all of us are. the various guides/tutorials are often being changed/altered/updated as new different better or even simpler ways are discovered from people's own findings. Usually the last people who accept or consider these findings are the ones who wrote the guides in first place and fail to see that their way may no longer be the one/only best way - they are still very clever but alas not so wise. Finally - there is one qwirky little thing about human knowledge and discoveries...... Time and time and time again some of the greatest were discovered by pure fluke accident by complete noobs or at very least as a byproduct of another invention so to speak, but sharing our findings with others is how we all learn Isn't that what what forums are for - to help/share & chill out a bit shame some mods of some forums fail to see that - but then I refer back to their heads so far up their own ar$es....
  19. Just curious - how many posts do you have on other forum ??? Reason I ask is that you can be a feckin genius but if somebody with say 10 posts comes along and says This is a better way/method/technique - they get crucified left right and centre Most of this will kind of make sense but way way too often nearly all forums will just assume how experienced you are just by your post count / date regged etc.... Always the way - many of us just judge a book by its cover/post count.... Problem is - say your regular forum is offline/server down you look around or land at another site say after searching for a specific issue - you regged and answer a few noobie questions then get ripped to $hit by somebody with their head so far up their own ar$e they can never see daylight again I do things my way - not always the ultimate way but so far my way of doing some things works best for me I do take onboard other people's methods and if I stumble I will consider trying other suggestions - thus I hope to improve upon my own wisdom in most things I do Sadly the world is full of narrow minded arrogant w a n k e r s who can't see that their way just might not be the one and only way - or only their answer/theory is valid - to which I say: The mind is like a flower - it works best when it is open But in my head I still think to myself they are w a n k e r s
  20. I think it is good but very very different from "normal" woodland sites yup - will be going back I reckon but perhaps a little better prepared (well a torch does help when you get lost in dark)
  21. Uhmmm yeah - don't think I would of put it like that..... maybe - "my dumb blonde girlfriend spilt some nail varnish remover....." perhaps What's a guy doing with nail varnish remover - anyone remember Airplane II William Shatner: "What's a man doing with a bobby pin ???"
  22. Sitting Duck

    Wolfenstein

Nah ain't got time to play to much, I may repair/downgrade but if I got any time I like to get out n shoot for real - well pretend soldiers firing bits of plastic balls I was right into it a year ago but online hacking pi$$ed me off so got back into modding and thought sod this lets get out n play outside - spent way too much time playing on tv jeeez the rows on my old megadrive/snes with my other half...... Showing my age, but been there done it got t-shirt, the baseball cap etc..... I know there are some fantastic games out there though, but much of it is so similar to what was done before only slightly better graphics etc.... Very very little new fresh ideas come along and graphics ain't everything if you look at tetris - world's biggest game ever - wish I invented something like that OK enough - really really showing my old fart age now but do enjoy them - only now I find the really really intense games give me headache/roomspin - lol
  23. Went Sunday 27th, wasn't too busy and a mix of regulars & newcomers hiring guns - about 30 aprox in total..... First couple of things you notice, it is quite dark or low lit - even with lights on so if you haven't got some sort of torch/flashlight you are gonna be in $hit a bit when they start playing some really dark games with just a few red lights on. Plus it is much cooler underground probably coz of brick built even on warm days - not bad thing coz I sweat like a pig running around (another thing - you won't be sprinting too much for too long unless you like running into walls, just moving briskly at best) We went out in groups of 3 first to get a feel of this maze like place with a regular, he knew his stuff and showed how important it is to keep peeking EVERY corner, well he was leading but soon got taken out so we are on our own - $hit this stuff is for real The idea was you get hit - go back to safe/spawn and collect another different two people to get people mixing and learn the place a bit - good idea but think maybe groups should of increased to say 5 or 6, one time we not made it out long and got lit up from another party of 3 also going out - so you had quite a few groups out there plus some last men standing of a group Now I am not gonna go on too much about some game modes being good or not so good - you get that at all sites. Kudos - to all players, they all seemed to be a good fair playing bunch, massive respect to one or two - especially the zombie & terminator guy who wasn't too bad when I auto'd him instead of semi coz I was outside having a pi$$/smoke when game brief started - sorry m8 but he was ok about it. Sure these guys like a bit of pain coz most of time it is full auto down there The Tunnel Rats obviously really know their stuff and it shows, they play very effective and aggressive - no not a bad way but they are not scared to go for it when many like me would hesitate about advancing - nope they feckin go for it and are deffo not noobs It is why they performed very well in competitions - it is their play style, not relying on bangs or smokes - well smokes can't be used coz of ventilation down there btw, also no lasers they recently announced. Lunch was decent - hot dog - even double sausage, donut & coke - btw do not get left inside coz they turn generator off so whole place in darkness whilst outside eating lunch - one story was a bloke a while back was inside not realising game ended and then they had lunch - he was inside in TOTAL DARKNESS - it is fecking pure black. When they returned he was a bit shaken up after being stuck down there for nearly 1 hour. Now I don't know if that is true but hopefully they are a bit more careful to ensure all out I can understand that, got caught myself going back out to find nobody in the centre of action..... They have speaker system but they say they use lights to signal end of game - flickering of lights etc..... This is not always clear especially to newcomers, they have speakers and should imho properly announce "Game Ended - Return to Safe Zone" once or twice Also this is CQB - real cqb, so I knew my gun was under 330fps, but the chrono was out but in actual fact it wasn't used, plus they annouced they will let ya go a bit over 340 or so..... Not a bad thing allowing a tiny bit of tolerance but ffs if you got the chrono then feckin use it !!!!!!!! Sorry but this is second site now I have visited and no chrono of guns - which to me is bollox I think though they forgot and will put my hand up to returning to safe zone with mag in gun so I should have been shot with own gun - did this TWICE - so I am a c u n t I know, no excuse even though I kinda lost my way and was pumped up/excited/preoccupied (well in actual fact I did get shot with my own gun coz it is so feckin dark I though gun wasn't firing I shot my hand - ouch it is working) I think it wasn't really my kind of thing but was trying to stick it out a bit after lunch, we played a game similar to invasion but was a bit too feckin intense and not a bad thing, but when hit you fall back - but it was just such a stream of full auto fire coming down all the time as you raise hand and walk back you just get pummelled in the back ffs from the streams of fire I can take a hit but with t-shirt & light jacket on it starts to sting a bit, and it was happening loads of times to people - many of us were getting quite pi$$ed and could be a possible situation where it could get out of hand getting lit up in back when dead man walking.... At this point - think we were at a serious disadvantage, not sure if teams were split fairly but we started to think this ain't funny I tried but thought nope, gonna call it a day, it was ok up to this point, not much objective play but different and haven't done cqb since April, but lit up in back again n again is not what I call enjoyment so gathered up my stuff and call it a day. I met the owner outside and had a chat with him, seemed to know his stuff and his team are very good but admitted it isn't for everybody and it is also very different to most other cqb as in dark tunnels and the gamestyle or enviroment. But it does promote or yes I will admit it can improve you in ways Peeking especially, learning about shadows and just generally full on going for it. I ain't no pussy but perhaps not quite the mad pitbull I might have thought I was No hard feelings - well a few in my back but was starting to subside a bit, wished him well, thanked him and drove home.... I may go again in month or two, you gotta see how green the grass is on other side, but will deffo get a plate for my back next time It is VERY VERY DIFFERENT to normal Airsoft sites, even other cqb does not fully prepare you for tunnel skirmishes like Epsom I think you should try it though, it is different, a little frantic at times and on the day I went the guys seemed to be pretty decent too (which makes a big difference) Hopefully chrono was a glitch error - I made bad mag-in mistakes too, perhaps annouce game over on PA system, and a few tweaks or mix of games/styles - plus anyone going remember a few things: TORCH - it is feckin' dark, sometimes had to feel my back for a few pitch black yards in some areas PROTECTION - backplate in my case, I had full face as I like my teeth where they are Make sure you gun is setup real sweet coz unless you got tracer you ain't gonna see $hit where they are going down there so forget about tweaking hop-up - well it is so close it won't matter too much but you won't see much without tracer unit Glad I went, not sure if it is for me but think I will go again as it isn't too far and the guys were all ok in my book which helps I have tried to write an honest review - yup I f*cked up a couple of times too but owner I think could tell, but I got told sternly when I messed up - it is a bad foolish - no stupid mistake to make, I normally just pull mag straight out when I'm hit & clear chamber a few times on my walk back but somehow kept forgetting at least twice - kudos he clocked me so they are on the ball hence think chrono was a remote one off oversight too. Deffo give it go chaps - if you got the balls but bring torch/backplate
  24. oh bollox with very curly hairs on well I went to Epsom Bunker as was more local (see review on this unique place if ya like) 3rd August - Dartford Sandpit anyone ??? well that is my intention atm - but £30 full day, not cheapest Sun 3rd Aug - update Well didn't bother going as this meeting up to me has kind of fell on its ar$e a lot quicker than I expected - so spent the day swearing at some gearbox
  25. RIGHT FFS SUNDAY 27th - this fell on its ar$e before it begun ffs 2 options Epsom Bunker or Ground Zero Woodland ??? I am 99.999999999% I am going to one of these who the hell is doing what on Sunday 27th ???
