  1. Whats gas consumption like? never really been into gas guns. Had things like the MP7 and went through masses and masses of gas even on small CQB games.
  2. Anyone know of a material dye that would be closest to OD/Ranger green?

Best bet, cut the grass after it's rained and then go roll about in the cuttings! :D

In all seriousness, witness my Google-Fu...

I'd recommend a synthetic dye as with some of the dylon stuff you'll dye the natural shit but not the synthetic.

I had this problem with my ghostbusters suits until I changed to a synthetic dye.

      Dyes everything.

      Look up Rit Dyemore.

Or iDye Poly (iDye has more shades than Rit's Dyemore)

  3. Drum mags for M4's should come with a free dignitas voucher... I say that, they allow you to die with dignity which you void when you buy a drum mag for an M4
  4. Last sunday...skirmish at RawWar in Colchester (everyone loves a tactical flannel shirt )
  5. I must admit i do find the majority of tactical brand clothing pretty cheesy (almost as bad as the older generation you see walking round towns in wolf/husky/bear/etc fleece jackets) I like subtle designs, Haley has some good stuff and obvious brands like Arcteryx but I just feel a lot of the them over do the "AMERICA IS GREATEST, f*ck WITH US DIE" a little to much
  6. The animal skull T is sexual!
  7. Try switching out to swimmers plates, I run them in my slickster with a 0.5mm foambacking and they are amazingly well contoured to the body rather than having to wait for the foam to bend... I also filled the Swimmers plates (as they have a recess) with sand and ball bearings as I use the slickster for cross fit type stuff so each plate weighs in at about 5kg (I have an empty pair and a full pair)
  8. Get the extended battery, so much better having something substantial in a pouch than something that feels like its about to jump about all day, extra battery life as well! Win, Win.
  9. I've had ideas for some mods to my slickster to function in the same sort of way as its handy to not have to remove the packard every time just to get the carrier off.
  10. Could have got one of the tubes on the shoulder strap as well or didn't you not want that function?
  11. Got two Crye gen 3 combat shirts plus some elbow pads.....£40
  12. Not seen one of these before, pardon my ignorance but what is it?
  13. Spiritus Systems Expander Wings TLSFX smokes Surefire hat mount - Tango Down

  15. http://tactree.co.uk/ up to 20% off on selected items plus free gifts (over a certain purchase amount)
  16. So not much for me recently Magpul MS3 Sling in Ranger Green Magpul MOE forgrip (I like that Magpul include a little section of rail so the grip can be utilized on other rail platforms other than picatinny) I'm not much for doing reviews but the UF Pro strikers I bought a week or so back are easily the most comfy pair of combat trousers I have ever owned!
  17. I still have a sacrificial lens on mine for that very reason (although admittedly I do forget to put it on, on occasion)
  18. I'm not 100% but the optics we have had that have been shot out they have replaced with no bother at all. "Our VIP warranty is about you, not us. It's about taking care of you after the sale. VIP stands for a Very Important Promise to you, our customer. We will repair or replace your Vortex product in the event it becomes damaged or defective—at no charge to you. Unlimited Lifetime Warranty Fully transferable No warranty card to fill out No receipt needed to hang on to If you ever have a problem, no matter the cause, we promise to take care of you. The VIP Warranty does not cover loss, theft, deliberate damage or cosmetic damage that does not hinder the performance of the product." Edit: quote from the website
  19. As a an of the T1 style optic I went for the Vortex Sparc AR, while not cheap by any means it does have a lifetime warranty with purchase so if the lenses get shot out they will replace it for you no questions asked (I've not had to yet but other team members that also have the same optic have)
  20. Have you considered headset style ear pro? easily attached to helmets if thats what you run, you can get amplified PTT's from a few places like toy soldier etc that connect to baofeng and not knowing what your budget is like you could go for either something like z-tac (copies of the MSA sordins or MSA sordins (or similar)
  21. From people that have told me throat mic's are wank. Dont bother. Personally I run the normal low profile D shape in ear piece that came with my UV5R but then I run slimmer style gloves also (pig gloves) running it through my PC in a way that the wires don't get caught up is pretty easy and the PTT for these can then be rigged to your shoulder pad or the area where your PC sits under your neck. Only other option really from what you've described is going with a different covert earpiece that has a bigger PTT (think of the ones you usually see bouncers wear, cant recall the name)
  22. UF PRO Striker XT Gen 2 Grey Brown
  23. Recent things... SISU mouth gaurd (replacement after loosing the original) Two boxes of EG 1.0 flash bangs Baofeng relocation cables parts (I make my own kits up, not buying from people on facebook using sh*t parts) Arcteryx cold weather beanie Arcteryx "lumberjack" shirt Evac8 meals (best self heating food IMO) Knee Mortar Dark Earth rail gaurds Magpul Pmag Ranger Plates x2 11.1 lipo's (needed a few more as back up for myself and team) Esstac RG double pistol pouch
