  1. A video of the gearbox cycling in semi and full auto would probably help us help you. When you opened up the gearbox, did you take a look at the teeth on the piston? Did they look worn or damaged?
  2. Yes, I am sure it has served you very well
  3. I live in hope that you might change; I am an eternal optimist.
  4. It is not about liking or disliking you; I don't know you anywhere near well enough to know whether I like or dislike you. However, your posts give an impression of you that forms my view of you as a person.
  5. What Shamal said was "I don't know of any gun club guns that have been used in school shootings." Hamilton carried out a school shooting with the pistols that he used at his gun club. If Shamal wants to argue around that, he can try.
  6. Thomas Hamilton was a member of the Stirling Rifle and Pistol Club for nine years before he took his four legally owned pistols and killed sixteen 5 and 6 year old children and a teacher. So yes, guns used at a gun club were used by a gun club shooter in a school shooting. Before going off and shooting a bunch of little kids, Hamilton was probably what you would describe as a responsible legitimate owner. Even by your very low standards, that post was cuntish.
  7. CCE trousers and cap to go with the shirt that I have had for a while, because I really need another set of camo. ? Also an M16A2 front end and stock.
  8. Welcome aboard. My lads started playing with me when they were 10 and 12. The eldest only plays very rarely now as he has real weapons and a bunch of EOD sappers to keep him occupied. The youngest is still playing but is off to university this month so airsoft will be on hold for him until he gets somewhere to store his gear and learns to drive; we will be playing together again when he returns for the Christmas vacation.
  9. I miss two sites. The first is UCAP Sandpit; as others have mentioned, this site had everything: CQB, wide open spaces, areas with loads of cover, the pipeyard, vehicles etc etc. A massive site with great gameplay. The other is Doomsday in Kent; it was a small, scruffy and very laid back site that was superbly run by people who understood the absurdity of grown men running around shooting each other with toy guns. Although rather small, it always felt bigger (ooer missus!) due to the layout and the varied terrain. They also did the best veggie food in airsoft.
  10. The ZCI barrel and Macaron will make a positive difference. Did you fit an Omega nub as well? If not, you really should with the Macaron.
  11. The evidence so far indicates that you are;). Do you need a new spade yet? That one must be worn down by now.
  12. Ooh, a keyboard warrior; keep going.
  13. Oh dear! That went right over your head, didn't it? You stated that you will never change your opinion; I pointed out that was the position of a fool as only a fool will never be prepared to change their opinion. Do you understand it now?
  14. If you have an opinion and will never change it you are a fool; a wise person changes their opinions as new facts emerge, as John Maynard Keynes almost certainly did not say.
  15. Does the .097b platinum have an optical trigger sensor? I thought it had a mosfet and a microswitch trigger. If so, it is probably the now standard problem with the micro switch breaking.
  16. Dispatched: 2nd November 2020 Delivered: 22nd April 2021 Well done, UPS!
  17. It has a hell of lot to do with Brexit; while UPS may carry some responsibility, most of this is down to entirely predictable issues around border controls and being outside the single market. Entirely predictable to everyone except the UK government, that is.
  18. It seems that TG may have stopped selling to the UK for a while again until UPS/HMRC get themselves sorted out. The bulk of the problem is not due to UPS; it is due to those who prepared the "oven ready" deal not only forgetting to buy an oven but also not knowing what an oven is. Expect things to get a lot worse if the European Parliament does not ratify the deal due to the UK government unilaterally altering the Northern Ireland Protocol.
  19. Also, be aware that your purchase has to have a minimum value of £140.
  20. That is why we have the Classifieds section of the site:).

  21. Given that TG's UK prices change as the exchange rate fluctuates, I am not sure that they are skimming anything off. If the item was put in his basket a while ago, there may have been enough fluctuation to account for the difference.
  22. Taking off 23% VAT would have resulted in a price of £107.94; the reduction is approximately 20% of the non-VAT price (£110.59) Exchange rate fluctuations may have had an impact.
