  1. V2 gearbox triggers make me want to shoot myself in the head.
  2. just bought a magpul RVG, couldn't find a PTS one in black so I've had to go real... surprisingly not that much more expensive. $41 shipped from the US.
  3. indeed, the field of view you get through one is extremely limited so much so that you wouldn't see someone popping up from under your muzzle or walking in from the sides.
  4. How else do you think ke$ha got a recording contract?!
  5. always barter with whores, I thought that was rule #1!?
  6. jesus, Shottingham really is stuck in the dark ages. Can't even see a bit of minge in a strip club.
  7. Recently I've realised that I generally come in from a night out with more than few loose £1 coins in my pockets, even if I don't drink. It's all down to being lazy and paying for everything with a note until the notes run out. Since I budget a set amount for a night out anyway, that money as far as my monthly plan goes is already 'spent' What happens then is those £1 coins sit in my pockets and get frittered away on useless shit like cans of coke or chocolate bars and other things that aren't good for me anyway! So I've decided that's no way to live, I'm going to harness my lazyness and save all of those £1 coins. I've called it the PTW fund but I don't think I'll ever buy a Systema, it just alliterates with pockets. What will I spend this money on? Who knows, but it'll be something expensive I'm sure... by the time I've filled a couple of these bottles there should be some serious spending power which otherwise would have just gone on tooth decay and early middle age spread! Ladies and gentlemen, I give you... THE PISS HEAD'S POCKETS PTW FUND! (don't tell my girlfriend, it'll be the holiday fund instead)
  8. unf! it's so sexy, I want to lick it all over, but it tastes bad
  9. Ian, if you're after a plastic S10 filter instead I can provide one in the near-ish future, off longterm sick at the moment but as soon as I get back to base you're welcome to the filter that's on my old respirator, though it's been exposed to the air (and a shitload of CS) for 6 years now so as an actual filter I imagine it's next to useless!
  10. on a real rifle if the receiver is aluminium (far from milspec admittedly) a compass would be fine!
  11. they actually asked for it back? jesus, things are getting tight!
  12. I dunno, all the S10 needed to do in it's real function was be gas tight, no point having expensive ballistic lenses if one break in your suit or the rubber area of the mask is going to kill you anyway!
  13. Indeed, rip the insides out of the canister and take out the non return valve from the other side too, they're horrid bits of kit and I'm glad they're being replaced (even if I did have to shave off my beard to get fitted for the GSR).
  14. yeah I saw that, if all else fails it comes with a warranty from the retailer.
  15. TM M870... not sure why I want one, but I do. So I bought one. Hopefully all the stuff I just put up for sale goes quick or I'm gonna be in the doghouse with the Mrs!
  16. 100% sure now that the jamming problem you're getting with the MP7 is a combination of overlube and poorly stacked BBs in the mag. I've found with mine that it doesn't like the bolt carrier being too gunked up so I cleaned it completely and used some abbey grease on it and haven't had to touch it for a couple of months now. The other thing I noticed when watching that video was that you've got gaps in the magazine when it's filled with BBs; 06:38 is a fine example. Marui MP7 no likey gaps! the mag needs to be filled 'correctly' e.g. every bb being adjacent with no gaps caused by 2 BBs being on the left/right. I have also found that I can get jams if the last BB is on the right side of the mag instead of the left... you'll see what I mean if you fill it that way, the follower doesn't sit right and it causes all sorts of problems.
  17. Yep, I can see how that works, I often see army cadets reporting targets for artillery. Airsoft sniper spotters are my second favourite thing, just after 2tone snipers. They're free kills!
  18. hitting a 1.5" wide target at 40m sets you up nicely for hitting person wide people at 60m!
  19. indeed, needs a proper russian scope, PSO or something, that said it's a pretty nice looking gun regardless... question is, does it shoot as good as it looks?!
  20. finally got the 'correct' silencer for my MP7 and it's also a QD tracer unit! 2 birds, one stone! Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  21. Decided I needed a dedicated rig for my MP7 stuff, so thinking 'light and fast' I have just ordered a TMC (I know :-( ) 6094S with 2586J assault panel. Chuck on some blue force gear pouches and it'll all be gravy, if not I'll have another vest knocking about in my cupboard!
  22. Personally I'd go with the first one, helmet and full seal goggles like that is asking to sweat to death and then fog up a lot!
  23. contact him directly or via facebook. he's shut down his website as he's not making any more.
  24. oh well if the eBay seller has 4-5 stars then they must rigorously test the ballistic protection offered by a bit of stamped metal and some extruded plastic that cost them LESS THAN £3. Come on now, what level of testing are you going to be able to do? shoot at them a few times with a 3-400 FPS AEG? Then what, so the one you shot up took it, but what about the other 2 pairs. The only way to test something like that is to destruction, at which point you need to know that every pair has been manufactured to the same standards and with the same level of quality control. If you're seriously considering trusting your eyesight to a £3 set of glasses from china then you'd best get used to dogs as eventually you're gonna need one to do your seeing for you.
  25. hmm, my take on china mesh is that you know it doesn't work when it fails... and that could be at any time.
