I have to agree with you here squire... I don't really want a holdall that screams army/airsoft/military/etc. kinda like just being able to trot about without worrying. At my size, some people get intimidated very easily quite literally for no reason. I actually get people cross the road when I walk towards them and whenever I go to a queue at the cash machine people always insist I go in from of them. Last thing I need is camo on a bag that looks big enough to carry enough c4 to make middlesex disappear.On the subject of oakley bags (and gear in general) the quality is insane! I was in the bluewater branch (only one of two branches countrywide) and looked at the oakley 'kitchen sink' backpack! f*ck me that thing is over-engineered as hell! It's a geardos wet dream I tell you. Ok so it's £180 for which is 'gun money' for some but if you can find one for cheaper jump on it! I might get this as well as the tart in me says it's a matching set for a holiday trip but for airsoft use it would be my 'respawn' bag for games where the Safezone and respawn are too far apart so I can store gas, bbs, backups, water,etc etc Oh and it's BLACK/RED so mmmmmmmm [/url] Cool review on tube

I'm well aware there's probably a thread on here about gun cases but I'm not actually talking about that. Im also not on about in field rucksacks, bum bags, day sacks etc etc. what I wanna know is what rucksacks and holdalls are you guys using to carry your gear to the skirmish When I first started out I just had a small rucksack and believe it or not I carried my gun in a trouser leg till I got a £15 gun case lol Now I'm looking to drop the gun case as I can fold my scar h and put it in a large holdall. Got a pair of these and considering I sweat like a peedo in mothercare I'm very surprised there was zero fog. They are not a full seal on my (fat) face so there was a nice gap for steam to get away from them so no droplets at all My only gripe is that they are not that stylish. I know that's not the priority but still...

Bout £1300 so far but I don't regret a penny of it to be honest. It's still my first and ONLY rifle as I don't plan on building a collection for the sake of it. I've got some internal/performance mods planned for the future to help bring the FPS up to 340ish. It's very dynamic to use but I warn it's very very heavy so I wouldn't recommend this setup for the average user for an entire days use. Oh and the novelty of recoil has STILL NOT warn off lol

Don't have an exact figure but when I get it back from the tech (new Cnc metal folding stock button to replace the plastic one) I will chuck it on the scales The rail extention (which you can't see properly in that pic as it's covered by the VFC PEQ) allows me to do two things.1... I can hold the gun in a more natural position with a longer/wider grip. Without the rail I have to either hold the gun by the barrel or hold it closer in and keep getting whacked by the bolt lever. 2... I can mount my torch and peq further forwards, again in a more natural position Also, I like the fact it completely changes the look of the scar quite a lot. I actually get experienced players ask me 'what gun is that' lol. The purists hate it but that makes me love it even more. I they liked it it would be coming straight off lololol The slight cutout at the underside of the rail allows me to fit on the EGLM. This is a better pic showing the rail ext

My TM SCAR extra HEAVY lol The EGLM, Rail extension and Elcan add a lot of weight but it's worth every last gram in the field

Try not to limit yourself to real life special forces or army uniforms. There are quite a few decent loadouts from action films/video games/comics etc. I wouldn't necessarily copy an entire loadout but nicking the odd idea here and there and combining it might make for something incredible and best of all unique Do t be afraid to use your imagination rather than sticking to a strict set of rules or formal concept

If I were you I would hold onto that money for a while. Try to get to a skirmish and ask people for a quick go with they're gun in between games. Also get to a shop with a range and try literally 10 guns or so. This way you can feel the weight, size, recoil/blowback, quality, finish, etc. there's no such thing as the perfect gun as people prioritise different features so only you can find out for yourself

To be fair I reckon the sort of person who buys 'exotic' (non mainstream) guns would probably have a 'collection' or at least larger total amount of guns. They won't want to spend £600 on one weapon even if it is a TM recoil. They may own maybe 15 guns ranging from cheap Chinese clones at £100 to perhaps a G&G main rifle for say £350. TM would rather aim at the guy who wants to spend £600 on his main gun which will 99 times out of a 100 be one of the mainstream models. Yes m4 after m4 can seem boring but there's a reason why every cafe in England does a full English breakfast! It's because that's what the market wants

Mmmmmm more oakley goodness.... Being that it's my birthday on Weds, my mrs obviously had to get me something airsoft related. She knows I've been after a set of oakley gascans Ducati limited editions since forever but have never bought them due to the rediculous price tag £300 second hand and up to £500 new when standard edition are only £120). I already have a set of polished black gascans but I bought them on holiday in America when my mrs was pregnant with my first born so I don't want to airsoft them and rough them up. My mrs got very lucky on a pair belonging to an absolute oakley whore who had them tucked away in his collection but now wanted rid so they are literally as new as it gets. Gascans are not really sports frames as such (in the same way as say the jawbone frames are) but they do share some sports features like being curved/wrapped, tight to head and of course ballistic/shatterproof to a higher standard than the usual airsoft goggles. I prefer these to the more sportier range as they have that more professional look which oddly I'm trying to avoid. Given the chance between looking like a tour de france cyclist and arnie as the terminator I choose arnie lol. Might sound odd but I'm trying NOT to look 'operator'. Those who know me or skirmish with me will immediately notice the frames are black and red (Ducati motorbike race red) which is a theme throughy entire loadout. These frames actually complete the loadout now so when I get a chance I will get a few pics up or even a short vid if poss. With guns and gear out the way, until the new TM BREACHER arrives I will focus on getting a decent holdall to transport all my gear (most probably the OAKLEY HOT TUB bag)

That guy who purposely point blanked someone in the head needs to find a new hobby! What an absolute douche I don't mind getting shot in the face if it's the only part of me on offer but point blanking someone in the head when you have the whole body avaliable is beyond rediculous!

I strongly disagree with 'hand touch' knife kills. It just doesn't make sense. In a game where rubber knives are the cheapest peice of kit why not just blooming use one??? Also half the skill of a knife kill is taking it out quickly and quietly before using it. Just taking your hand off the gun reciever and sticking it out is just an absolute cop out. There's only one guy I know who can kill you with a tap on the shoulder and he don't airsoft A mate of mine once knife killed me 4 times in one skirmish because he is very very sneaky. On one occasion I felt the knife point into back, heard him safe knife kill, turned around and he wasn't there! Stealth level 1000 Also on the subject of 'feeling' hits I only ever where a tshirt with no vest/plate carrier so I feel them all. It's impossible for me to cheat even if I wanted too

I would turn around and tell you to shoot me in the chest point blank! Ask anyone who has played with me and they will tell you I'm there to be hit. Don't rob yourself of a hit to please me as I really don't mind being shot point blank on purpose (as long as it's not intentionally in the face/neck). If it's a sniper rifle doing crazy fps then I won't take the hit and I will stab/shoot you under MED rules. If you do shoot me within MED rules then I will go straight to a Marshall FOR YOUR OWN Safety not mine lol
