  1. As I said, most shops except these defences now, the only one I found who don’t is patrol base.
  2. Even Firesupport who I believe who were one of the main organisers of UKARA, except many different defences as do most shops, Shooters Rights Association, Sportsman Association to name a couple.
  3. Not sure about airsoft, but airguns are on license in the Republic I think.
  4. Now have one. Only used it once so far, so limited information Pro’s Excellent build quality Slide well finished, not sure what the finish is, but it’s not a paint. Con’s Trigger is very heavy, haven’t got a gauge but would guess about 7+ lbs Mag is slow to load, speed loader is supplied and needed. If you try to squeeze the trigger very slowly you can hear a small gas release, don’t think this a fault though, just down to the no hammer design. Definitely a collectors piece and not suitable for the skirmish field.
  5. Supposed to be in the Country tomorrow.
  6. Hi Mark, Whats your best price, you paid me £600 Regards Doug.
  7. If he didn’t pay friends and family this is normal.
  8. Don’t agree that metal slide guns break easier than polymer ones, certainly not my experience.
  9. Parcelforce won’t pay anymore than a £100 compensation for any type of gun, so paying for extra insurance is just a waste of money.
  10. I was very surprised by Firesupport acceptance of SA membership as a defence, (don’t they actually run the UKARA data base), I think once they did except it others followed suit.
  11. I have personally bought from wolf, land warrior, BZ and Crawley, no problems, and I don’t have UKARA now, only sportsman Association membership.
  12. Patrol Base don’t. Firesupport, Airsoftworld, Wolf Armouries, Defcon Airsoft, land warrior, weekend warrrior, Crawley Surplus, BZ Tactical, A2 supplies, all do.
  13. Join the sportsman Association, most shops accept this as a defence now.
  14. This has happened to a number of my club mates, they have purchased airguns from Europe, had them seized and wrongly listed as RIF’s. Even parts of airguns are being seized. One friends FEO got involved and told BF they were wrong to seize airguns as they come under the firearms 1968 act, and can never be a RIF as they are legally low powered off ticket firearms. Made no difference, they still destroyed the gun.
  15. This happened to me, got visits from the police and everything. Border Force are out of control since the New Year. Got a refund from PayPal luckily, but had to fight hard not to have a entry against my name on the police computer system.
