  1. OK people, I'm resurrecting this thread because the time has come for me to choose some expensive fan goggles. My choice is between ESS Profile Turbofan and Revision Desert Locust Fan, unless there have been any new releases of which I'm not yet aware, as Smith Optics are just way too un-Russian looking for my loadouts. What did you end up going with, Christopher? One of my problems in choosing is that I really want green frames, so that at a distance they could be mistaken for Russian 6B34's, but tactical-kit.co.uk only have black for both ESS and Revision and the only $99.99 (+$12.97 Shipping & $25.11 prepaid tax) ESS's on ebay.com are also black. To get Foliage Green Desert Locust Fans from Revision costs $169.99 (cos they only sell the "Essential" kit, not the cheaper "Basic" kit with only 1 lens) +$36 shipping which will then cost +$41.20 VAT and courier bum rapage, which basically adds up to about 180 quid, ffs! AFAIK it would only be slightly cheaper (like a tenner) to get green Turbofans direct from ESS...
  2. This question seems unintelligible to me. That is a VLTOR style sight, which attaches to a barrel to provide a flip up front iron sight and also allow the addition of a laser or torch because it has a short rail. So "keep my riz rail on" doesn't seem to make sense. Just for clarification, an RIS rail is integrated into the handguard, whereas an RAS system also has rails extending onto/above the receiver. Not as well as mesh with interwoven wires, but they are usable, especially if you are using a torch.
  3. Yeah, I keep thinking i need a standalone launcher. I'm thinking for TAG's, but i don't want the unbalanced weight of a tube on any of my AK's. Because there are so many situations in airsoft where i end up throwing a pyro knowing full well that i don't have the skill to land it exactly where i want it, but have a go anyway I'm sure TAG's are the way forward, it's just the initial expense of the launcher and TAG tube insert that has stopped me so far...
  4. Yeah, we definitely need a CYMA impact grenade, or a wpływ Granat!
  5. Yeah, so that's 3 of us living on fresh air now...
  6. NSP-3 Optical Night Sight - zɫ999.00 Russian Officer's Belt, Brown - zɫ55.00 +zɫ145 shipping from frontoweic.com = £207.14
  7. She's not working - i swapped her hop rubber from PDI W-hold for a Maple Leaf 60 deg to try to get her to lift .4g BB's but the .4's got jammed in the barrel, so i swapped back to the original set up, but the .32's i had been using were then getting jammed. I dunno what the problem is and i couldn't be arsed to fix it, what with being really ill, so she's still sat waiting for some TLC. But I've wanted an AEG version for ages anyway and with the £<>€<>Zloty rate being good and the stock level at gunfire being really low, i thought now was the time to take the plunge.
  8. Actually that looks like damn good ghillie wrap!
  9. Well, if you decide not to, please pass it on to me?
  10. ^^For one hideous minute there I read that as "Nice crimbo paint job"
  11. Sooooooooooooooooooooooo tempted! But i've just bought a new SVD so no, just can't afford it.
  12. CM057A CYMA SVD - £168.32 shipped ~ gunfire.pl 3 x CYMA 100rd Mag for SVD AEG - £6.82 each ACM Full Steel Bipod for SVD - £39.03 ACM 5x Periscope - £33.31 ...including Free Shipping from taiwangun.com Just need to decide now whether to take the plunge on a Real Sword PSO-1 replica, go for a cheap ACM, a slightly more expensive Norinco, or a real steel POSP for £208.50 :gulp:
  13. Yeah, I didn't know that either. Just recently bought a 100% PDI spring that feels weak as water! I think it may end up being useful though because I had to fit an old shotgun spring into my tac-AK after fitting a TBB, O-ring air seal nozzle, and double O-ring piston head - I forget what the FPS was with an M100 spring after that but it was surprisingly high.
  14. In theory you could but they would likely be very uncomfortable with the arms pressed against the side of your head. Plus if they were polycarb lenses they would probably fog/rain out at first, until they warmed up.
  15. Which model of Revision goggles? Can we have a link, please?
  16. 2 x 32GB Micro SD / SDHC Class 10 w/ Adapter - £2.90 each posted ~ fleabay (for the camera I bought earlier) (I ended up bidding on a few of these starting @1p but after losing to people paying over the "Buy It Now" price several times I decided to just buy [them] now myself.)
  17. Well, yeah, but easier to find if it's in our "Guides" section, with an appropriate thank you and link to the original of course - we wont know unless you ask, Sacarathe, and you can only get told no, not hunted down and shot in the bell end... OK, the latter is a remote possibility, but you can always blame Sitting Duck!
  18. Oh yeah, and although this is ostensibly not airsoft related*, you could use it to transport your gear, kit, guns, change of clean dry clothes & shoes, the kitchen sink, and most of that for a mate also - down from what i'm guessing was a pre-black-friday inflated price of £149.99 to just £27.99 posted: a 26" hardshell wheeliecase (63x28x47cm, Weight: 4.15Kg, Capacity: 84L) Soz about the massive pic - it was the only one i could find that ended in .jpg, but then again, it is a pretty big case *It's such a good deal that after getting one myself I couldn't not pass it on to you lot - plus they send 'em bloody quick too: paid for late last Friday night; arrived just now Tuesday afternoon by Yodel.
  19. ...not quite the same uniform cut, but very similar: most effective in autumn woods but sub-zero in any environment!
  20. Thanks for that info. Would you say ASPUK as a whole has suffered since Darren departed? Since my SVD partly gave up ages ago and partly due to being so ill i could only maintain a fraction of my former interest in all things airsoft, so i haven't fixed her as well as not reading about much online, I haven't been on there in a good while... But i seriously think i'll be back in the field soon, so more stuff for me: Soviet M69 Hebe Winter Jacket - $46.50 Soviet Berezka KZS Pants Unsized - $7.50 (probly size 2 - to make a helmet cover for my SSh-68 Steel Helmet) Early Type Soviet Tourniquet - $9.51 (To wrap around the folding stock of my AK-47S) 12 x Soviet RD-54 Toggle Buttons - $8.51 (Never seen these for sale alone before - bound to come in handy) ...+$36.00 Combined Shipping from The Ukraine
