  1. Planning on getting some PKM parts but wanted to make sure they'd actually arrive given they're shipped from Russia (Or was, maybe that's changed too?) Do they use PayPal yet too?
  2. I was curious if anybody had found a way to attach an RMR to a Grach and saw Raptor teased a mount in 2021. Knowing raptor I’m sure it never left their production bench… Am I wrong?
  3. And the yellow and green stripey one makes your pew smell like banana
  4. Out of 4 posts, 3 of them have been reviving dead topics 😂
  5. The post was 2 years ago...
  6. Rookie mistake that, it’s the blue that doubles value!
  7. The issue that I haven't seen mentioned is that whilst yes your intention was to show a cheap bargain and use them outside of airsoft games - A person could see them posted here, not read the rest of the context, go out to Lidl and buy a set, rock up to airsoft and then their next post is "I bought goggles I saw on an airsoft page and now I have 1 eye - It's all their fault!!!" Extreme? Yes, however stupidity is everywhere 😂 Roughly nine years ago my at the time regular site had a chap rock up with some cheap safety glasses (Think the type that comes with those £20 springer and BB bundles) who assumed as it was bought from an airsoft (More so hobby store where they sell samurai swords etc too, you know the types I'm sure!) store that they would be fine to use. He was walking back to respawn and had got a stray BB hit his glasses, shatter them and LUCKILY the BB hit just under his eye. I saw him again maybe 6 months later and he was still having trouble with where the BB had hit him and it had caused damage still. He tried to sue the site for negligence (It didn't go very far obviously) but it put the site owner at risk, all because he didn't do his due diligence and ensure he had correct safety gear. There's more to it than just you getting hurt. Imagine if you was the player that had shot at someone, not expecting to hit their eye protection (BB's aren't exactly known to go exactly where you want them to 99% of the time) and the next thing you know the dude you've just shot is on the floor screaming in pain because his cheap eye pro broke and now he has plastic splinters in his eye ball - That would be traumatic for everybody I reckon 😂 The site owners would also have to fill out an incident form for their insurance, which then puts that cost up for them. Sadly most sites are struggling financially as it is in this day and age, the last thing they'd need is premiums going up too. One accident from misjudgement or poor decision making from an individual can spiral into a big ordeal. I hope I don't come across as rude or targeting towards you as that's not my intention at all, I genuinely just don't want to see people getting hurt outside of "Ouch the BB hit me and it stung" 😂
  8. Would you rather: a) Pay out for a face mask and eye protection that will last and be as safe as possible or b) Lose teeth and eyes and potentially put a site at risk of closure Safety should always be paramount in my opinion, even if it means forking out £100
  9. Usually 60 - 70% of retail cost total. BB's aren't worth selling online as it'll end up costing you more for postage due to the weight, and the Li-Po's would be another hard thing to post as they'd need to be declared which puts the price up. The replica itself is £459.99 brand new, 60% of that is £275.99 The extra mag will add maybe £5 value. No idea on the "Laser scope" but it looks like what AirsoftWorld has for £35 so £21 to the right buyer (Niche and possibly unusable for some people) Factoring in the two tone which does sadly detract value to the majority, you'd be looking at low end of £280 for the replica, spare mag and laser scope (Which isn't even a scope?!) Factor in shipping cost (Roughly £11 via Parcelforce 48 Hour) and PayPal fees when totalling price I'd say around £300
  10. Welcome 👍
  11. EN 166 B is the lowest rating for airsoft, these look to be EN 166 F which would be not airsoft safe If like me you need glasses to be able to see, I've been using these with inserts for the past 7 years: https://www.bztactical.co.uk/nuprol-battle-pro-eye-protection-with-insert-grey-frame-smoke-lens and have taken many a shot to the lenses with them and survived. I would recommend something full seal though honestly. Bloc are highly rated and I am tempted to jump over to them myself however the pricing is a bit off putting - However you can't really replace an eye should it get damaged so 🤷‍♂️ My Dad uses a Dye mask over his glasses (Which are quite a large frame) too which is another good option!
  12. Make sure they're actually rated for airsoft and be careful with cutting into them, it could weaken the lenses and cause them to lose their strength
  13. Spent the afternoon rebuilding my Cyma SVD to see if I could get its FPS consistent. Shooting 319 fps on a .3g BB with 2 fps variation on average through 50 shots so quite happy with it now. However as I'm now a super sneaky sniper an all black rifle wasn't going to cut it. Just need an idea on how to cover the PSO-1 so it blends in with nature more without permanent modification as it gets moved around a bit 🤔 I was thinking this: https://www.empireairsoft.co.uk/classic-sniper-rifle-3d-camo-cover.html?id=269271424 as it's in ATACS FG but no idea if it would fit my SVD?!
  14. £11 for a repro sling? https://www.dandbmilitaria.com/ak-akm-russian-sling-ur-2b £10 for legit slings that will last a lot longer!
  15. The only chance you have of people seeing the listings now is when it's close to running out and goes to the "ending soon" tab
  16. What’s the going rate of a real sword SVD in 2025? 👀

    1. Sniper780

      Sniper780

Depends on what gen you have, as well if you have the original accessories and if it been "upgraded"  or is it stock.

I'm looking to buy one so just want to know what price range I'm looking at to be honest

Well it depends on what you are after. Cheapest I have seen is 500 for a very well used one with no extras. However dependant on what the packaged comes with you could be looking at 1000+ for some really nice examples.

  17. Shockingly they dispatched my order already. That's unusual for them 😂
  18. That solved it. Who knew I posted so much sh*t 🤣
  19. I reckon it's your collection, got too many people jealous 😉
  20. Seems like it began today however I can only upload images with a file size under 105.64Kb which is tiny. To upload an image taken from my iphone I'm having to scale the image down from it's native size to 190 x 143 pixels just to be under the file size threshold. Is this a new implementation or just a bug?
  21. If you have a site local to you it could be worth offering them the BB's at a good price for rentals? Get some money back and also saves you having to work out a way to get rid of them haha
  22. There's an appraisal section here bud https://airsoft-forums.uk/forum/151-appraisals Typically it's 60 - 70% of retail cost however as it's two toned it can lower the price for people so keep that in mind. Selling with the BB's is probably not a good idea purely due to the weight of them and it'll put your overall cost up considerably. The AUG looks to be an "ASG Aug A3 MP" which retails for around £220 according to Wolf Armouries, so you'd be looking at £135ish roughly I would say for the replica alone. The grip and scope are pretty cheap so would be more to sweeten the deal than anything, maybe an extra £10 - £20 on top. I personally would sell the chronograph separately. As long as it works etc it would be around £30 - £40 preowned. Make sure to factor in paypal fees and postage cost with your total prices too 👍
  23. I wonder if a GBBR VAL/VSS could follow... Although knowing TWI is involved I am a bit worried it'll be a small production, big promises and then - Nothing...
  24. "It's basically brand new mate, yeah I want £1000 for it, yeah don't worry about the scratches it's still a insert brand here so it's gotta be worth the £1000 as it's basically brand new and still in the box see!" Meanwhile it looks like this:
  25. Should I get rid of the candles and hooded robes...? Your initial post was five years ago, on a niche aftermarket kit for a niche platform. After almost three years you came back again asking for help with the niche aftermarket kit for the niche replica (Even more niche in 2025 due to much better SVD options readily available) and then your final post (Before this one) was again asking for advice on a pretty specific setup which I assume not many people have done - Especially as you was asking for the longest inner barrel when most would look for shorter in something like a GBB SVD. You haven't done anything to contribute to the "community" or be engaging here other than seeking help and then throwing a fit because nobody answered 🤷‍♂️ As our glorious cult leader Tackle said, anything Air Gun related isn't permitted (Even in the Off-Topic section, it's an AIRSOFT forum) which most of the community is aware of - however upon checking the rules @Tackle I didn't see anything specifically mentioning no air gun talks, could be worth adding? This is probably the best community platform for Airsoft to be honest, it's upkept and maintained and has staff that actually do look after the site. The members are great here too. I'm sorry you had a negative experience and nobody helped you with your SVD questions. For the WE I would highly recommend the Heavy Recoil Club discord server as there's a wealth of information for them there 🙂
