  6. No, there's millions of us
  7. I mean, a lot of people who go to LARPs, etc are private owners innit. Also sometimes used to scare birds, one of my old jobs used to have a guy go up on the roof and fire a few off to scare the gulls away. Plus some rich bastards have nice, big gardens where they don't have to worry about bothering their neighbours, and much like Airsofters, a lot of them buy the shiny thing, fire it twice, then hang it on the wall for 17 years.
  8. 12-14 days to ship because he has to wait for Ali Express to deliver them to his house first then forward it on to you.
  9. Popular for LARPs, MilSims, theater industry, the film industry, etc, etc. Basically any time you want a really loud bang out of a gun but no risk of an Alec Baldwin incident.
  10. Good, I want a Sako replica
  11. I'm not sure how much stock I put in the idea of Airsoft getting banned or something. Maybe RIFs get more restricted and that would be shite, but he spray painted a two tone here. If you're worried about it though, sign up with UKAPU. Genuinely, if a new weapons law de facto band Airsoft, we are going to need something that lobbies on our behalf with some collective representation. It's how the NABV in the Netherlands got an exemption to firearms laws passed for Airsoft after it got banned for a few years. Not at all perfect, but we can at least learn from them.
  12. It's a dumb teenager who's probably spent too much time online to like, understand how that's perceived out in the real world. It's something I keep telling new Airsofters when they go home in full tactical clobber and guns barely concealed in bags, (sometimes not concealed at all). People will notice. It takes one concerned caller saying the magical word "I think it's a gun" anywhere near a major public place, and then every bobby available will be on hand to feed you the pavement.
  13. I remember an Andrey sales listings passing off exactly that set as "real steel" Right down to that absolutely mangled spelling
  14. Either your site has a really high end chrono or that's kind of a pointless exercise haha. Heck a lot of chronos struggle with 3 shot shotguns, nevermind 17.
  15. Short answer is no. MWS and WE replicas use a trigger box setup that won't fit a real spec trigger like that. VFC, GHK, and Viper Tech are closer, but the hammers are substantially different on those as they're designed to rest at about 30-45 degrees rather than straight vertical, to mitigate wear and the force needed to reset the hammer. On all three the hammers are also wider than real spec, to spread the force on the bolt carrier as it resets them. You could cludge it in there a bit by welding an extension onto the firing pins but it'd still run far worse than stock, especially as the hammer spring will be very stiff compared to Airsoft ones. I gotta ask: why?
  16. Two optics, six feet apart cos they're not gay
  17. Too late, dog already shot
  18. No it's not shitty, termite-riddled balsa. It's REAL WOOD
  19. How do you chrono it?
  20. That's being processed as an audio file on my phone, oddly. The trigger mech on the M249 is as simple as can be, so it's weird to have it fail. Try looking at the safety mechanism, maybe it's intermittently engaging and blocking the sear from dropping.
  21. Real Wood is the funniest Airsoftism. It doesn't mean it's actually quality, but it's one step above Little Timmy's fake wood plastic toy so you can use it as a selling point, apparently.
  22. 4uad hopup + Unicorn 70* Comp bucking or Modify X-Range 70*. Still annoying that it needs those aftermarket parts, but they do at least fix the shitty stock hop.
  23. Man I can't imagine plugging away at a replica for five years I'm ngl. I had an A&&K SVD and managed to get it to like, minimum BASR level of usefulness. Sold it after a year or so because it was so awkward to handle and just not that well built. There's aftermarket for basically every part of it from AirsoftPro in Czechia but after totting up the cost to make it theoretically shoot pure lasers mate no lies 200m flat I just sold it and built an ARBA gas sniper instead.
  24. They're surprisingly comfy
  25. Both options are good as a broad platform, but I will say the 416A5 is the worst VFC AR and would not recommend it at all
