  1. OK, thanks for the quick reply!
  2. Would that be under Shipment note, in which case what is shipment name for?
  3. Sorry about this, but was just wondering what the 'enable shipment' option is for when placing an advert. Should this be filled in when offering p&p? -Shipment note -Shipment name and value
  4. Remember there are genuine sellers out there with 0 feedback (e.g. Me). I’ve just posted my first for sale advert. I hate scammers as much as the next man/woman.
  5. There's also Marcruss stores in Bristol. marcrussairsoft.co.uk /krytac,g&g/bristol/airsoft supplies A family run business for over 40 years selling army surplus. Recently expanded into airsoft as a way to bolster the business after a crippling time during COVID. The owner is very nice and good to chat to about airsoft, although he's not always at the store himself. I've been going there about 40 years myself and it's hardly changed - in a good way. One of the few 'old school' suplus stores left. Small but very nice to browse and find yourself a bargain. Since everything has gone online it's hard to find such shops like this anymores so nice to support a family run independent business. There's even a small amount of off-street parking for customers at the back.
  6. UPDATE Unfortunately I won't be offering these for sale for the foreseable future. I just found out that my family are only willing to store them and not post or allow a buyer to collect them. Yes, sad but true. I'm going to try and arrange for a friend to collect them so he can help me sell them online but that won't be for quite a while. I'm living abroad so can't do anything hands-on myself in the UK.
  7. Thanks for the advice - I might go for a bit more in that case. Like you say, depends on who's nearby.
  8. OK, thanks. Anyone live near Wiltshire? ? I'm still thinking £100 is a bargain for the right person. If the sling is £25 and the M16 another £25 that leaves the handguns at just under £17 each. I wouldn't be surprised if a trader tried to sell just the M16 for at least £100 - or is that unlikely? I agree, posting and splitting would get me the most money but that's not an option for me just now.
  9. Hi all, I've got the following spring powered guns which I would like some advice on valuation before I sell them. These are all spring powered plastic bodies about 15 years old. All have the appropriate licensed makers marks. All these are boxed and complete. I've now decided to include an original US army issue M16 sling too. I believe the sling alone would be worth about £25. Tokyo Marui M16A1 hopup Walther PPK Colt 1911 M19 357 Magnum Unfortunately I have only limited low res photos. Here's all of them without the boxes. I was thinking of £100 for a 'job lot' and collection only from Wiltshire. It's not possible for me to post them and I don't have the time to sell them individually. What do you think?
  10. It’s encouraging to hear they’re not as bad as I thought so I could consider using again. They seem to have stuff you can’t easily find elsewhere. Your comments have restored my faith a little!
  11. I tried them once for a small car part and it didn't arrive - never again.
  12. I'm not driving anything at the moment as my car is off the road awaiting a new gearbox ?? It's an old Audi A3 when it's on the road - I love it but it's showing it's age (like me really).? So for now I'm on the busses.
  13. I would have to check but I'm pretty sure you only have to be 18 years old to buy a realistic one and that's the only requirement. I don't think I've seen any painted bright colours here.
  14. I had a feeling that would be the case for my old spring guns. There seems to be so much more choice and quality now. I've not yet bought one here but have looked at some and have been tempted. I think there're expensive which is why I was thinking of checking out some second hand ones. But buying them here is just a case of walking in to a shop and handing over your money. Even one of the biggest sports clothing chains here sells live firing rifles and ammunition - which you do need a cirtificate for. I just saw an advert on a Finnish auction site for a second hand but unused Umarex Colt Peacemaker .45 6" 4,5mm CO2. It looks like they want €145. A few years back a shop closing down was selling these half price and I wish I'd got one then. The new price here is €249.99 (£215). No garden to use. I've got access to a summer cottage in the countryside which was where I was thinking would be the best place to use one.
  15. Hi all, Now living in Finland where airsoft has a strong following. The scene is new to me although I have a small collection of 15 year old spring powered guns still stranded in the UK. Still looking and learning to see where it takes me. I love the metal GBB versions of my old guns but I'm not a big spender. Feeling a bit too old to skirmish but like the idea of owning a replica that I can also shoot. I'm also looking to sell my old spring guns and it was suggested on the Replica Airgun Forum this could be a good place. My guns in the UK have only recently come out of storage and I've yet to get some decent photos, which won't happen for some time. Anyway, I have some old low res photos, one of which is below. I concluded it's too difficult and not economical to try and ship them from UK to Finland - sad but true.
