Won't actually add that much weight, just a nicer feel. And shiny... Seriously, I'm going to start taking orders. Payments ect. I've got a lot of interest on the Rpf. I've waited till I've got production to a point where I'm completely confident. It's 1.2mm mild steel, I thought about Stainless and decided against purely because, well, I really want one that's a bit rusty on my build. Will be supplied as bare metal. They need the ejection window adding, I've left that to give a little leeway for adding shotguns. Very simple thing to do with a Dremel and a file. Next project is a Valmet M82 then I'll return to these for SPAS 12s. They're £180 posted in the UK. Happy to ship worldwide.

They look a little odd as the channel hasn't been formed yet.

First ones are coming off. These being for pulse rifles. Basically, there's no indentation for the rear sight.

I know the regs, it's just I've been bmfa insured since I was 5, used to fly a 200mph weston tigershark at the local club (other kids got plastations, I got a really trick model aircraft engine. A just engines 0.37 with a ridiculously long expansion chamber, all in purple.) odd how that sticks in the memory despite being nearly 20 years. Raced rc cars at the nationals, flew all sorts but that tigershark was probably my favourite, worked in a model shop in high school (all electric rc) And then the government decide to start regulating it and I'd want to do it on a really casual basis, I honestly lost the desire to bother. Basically, make something too easy and idiots will join in. Ie drones. Beforehand, someone would have to invest money and more importantly, time, to learn to fly one. Even assembling an artf kit is beyond most of these fools. Otherwise, give an idiot a plane and he'll be lucky to get it airborne before it's matchsticks.
-
I used to. Still got a lot of the planes and stuff at my dad's. Haven't bothered with it since the registration stuff, but I do fancy getting back to it. I'd quite like to build/modify a glider model into a rocket me163. We have a few sites near me where people fly.

I've quite fancied this from bunny workshop. But it's actually a real norinco with some inserts to chamber shells. A bit dodgy.

I had nothing but dissapointment with mine, but I hope you have a better experience. Lots of the 1st gen ones appear to have been made with the barrel out of line with the cylinder resulting in innacuracy and topsspin being applied to the bb. It's also a clone of the Marushin SAA if you ever need to find bits for it. The tanakas have their gas inside the cylinder, don't take shells but you load through the front. They have a hop and shoot with a bit more poke than the king arms or marushin. I do thoroughly reccomend one if you like revolvers.
-
They're all Tanaka except the bottom 1858 which is a tanaka system but made by HWS. I think the two engraved models are the only ones in the UK. They're Tanaka "Renaissance" versions. They're eye wateringly expensive though, but I do hope he uses them. The top left is a Bisley variant I've not seen so I needed that in my life and I prefer the Bisley to the standard saa.

A little job for @Arrtee99 Making a schofield both shorter and also adding a hop, and a little bit of fettling to make the action a bit smoother.
-
I have a video of one doing a drinks can at 27m. I'd got my phone in my left hand, AMT hardballer in the right and did it first go. Very, very smooth, well made and accurate airsoft gun. Like a luxury TM. They are still going and you can still get parts, they're just a small, niche concern now. I appreciate it's not everyone's bag but for 1911s, I genuinely don't think they've been surpassed.

I had a KSC TMP. That's what morphed into the KSC MP9 and has then been cloned into the vorsk. That would be a good uno reverse card if they made a TMP.
-
Northeast have the GBB uzi pretty well covered though.

PayPal are awful to deal with if anything goes wrong as a seller, I can see his point as long as he doesn't abuse it. I really, really really prefer doing as much as possible in person, at least the first time. Cuts all the bullshit.
-
I don't get the hype over the new vorsk smg. more people getting into GBBRs is a really good thing imo, but not if they're burned by a bad purchase. But this is an old platform, cloned and made to look not quite like what it should and then sold by a company that has really questionable QC and it's being paraded around as a new thing. It's not even particularly cheap. Am I missing something?
-
The Northeast is an amazing replica and showpiece. It's a terrible airsoft gun in the UK climate. It's just too cold. The AGM Sten is a better prospect in the UK off you actually want to use it imo.

There's part of me that wants to polish it, and part that wants to properly finish it with an oxide finish with the right markings.
-
Aside from a bit of linishing, polishing, a trip to a friendly local engraver and then either further polishing (unrealistic but would look nice imo) or zinc phosphate, here's me latest completely impractical cqb toy. Literally works exactly as the real thing except with a plastic non pointy "firing pin" (more akin to what we see in m203s and aps cam870 mk2) and a chamber deliberately designed not to be able to take the pressure. It's also slightly the wrong bore for any modern shotgun shell.

I've got a mate coming off deployment and a weekender at a club I've wanted to be more involved in for a while. Another western game at fireball should happen in September. Six shooters, mates and moonshine, makes an excellent weekend. Just secured a load of tooling to make bespoke bits at home and would really like to break into the film/tv armoury industry and make some interesting airsoft bits.
-
I'd be tempted to find a good used Western Arms. Or buy one from the factory, but that'll be expensive. Hard to explain but they're like a much nicer TM.

@Mookster63the interest I've had on the Rpf specifically for pulse rifles has been outstanding, as well as a couple of other interested parties. And a film company. I thought the same, I thought the main market would be for tms but I was wrong and am just adapting. I WILL add the detail further down the line and do some but this makes more sense to start.
-
Just to be clear I'm not interested in taking money till they're done @TierOne A couple of people have offered, they want to be in my hand and done with an exact quantity. The first lasering actually showed up a couple of errors so the models been redone. However, first run of these (i will be able to do batches) are going to be slightly simplified and targeted at pulse rifle owners, because the market for those is bigger-it means an airsoft shotgun can be fitted AND the RPF is another good place to sell. Also some tooling needs to be made to make a couple of the details with these, for example the rear sight mount area, details which are not needed for a pulse rifle build. It's just taking longer than I thought, but I now have a better understanding of why sometimes we see a company float an idea and it takes sometimes years to appear. From my perspective, people don't tend to want to part with 120 usd for the stock for an airsoft Marui. To kick this off, something which I hope will carry on, I have just decided it makes more sense to go down the pulse rifle route first. I can then adapt from there if there's enough interest. I've got a few bits in the pipeline, a couple of VG volksrifles I really fancy doing a few of. Reproducing some colt NPC grip mounts, I've got access to one and they're rocking horse shit now but would be a very easy thing to replicate with works tooling. I think a JAC AR18 metal reciever is also very possible. Again, I've got one to copy. But baby steps, for now and evidently nothings going to be particularly quick.

Tokyo Marui, KTW and Sheriff all made full size Spas 12s with folding stocks. TM stocks were available separately as well as boxed together with the gun. Octagon airsoft cloned the TM stocks. They're expensive but you couldn't make one for less. The photo is a TM with some Sheriff bits. Unless you mean fixed stocks then only KTW did those.
