  1. Those are rather important criteria when deciding what is the best airsoft revolver. I would want to use it quite a bit before making that claim.
  2. I am so sorry for the loss of someone who was obviously loved by you all. The way that Ollie dealt with his illness was inspirational.
  3. I would happily deliver it to you.
  4. I have seen it claimed, but cannot remember where and for which motor. I would leave the ARL in place.
  5. There should be a longer spring that sits in the rear of the fake bolt and pushes it forward when you let go of the charging handle.
  6. Voluntary liquidation due to insolvency.
  7. Indeed; that is the apparent over reaction. I deal with flagged cases on a weekly basis and would only ever escalate to Prevent if I had very serious and urgent concerns. I have done that once. My favourite case was a chap who was flagged for multiple hits on "weapons related" (actually airsoft) websites and on an airsoft site that I occasionally played at. In the meeting, I went through all the required stuff and then asked him if he had played at the site; he had, including on a couple of days when I was also there.
  8. That depends on what outcome you are looking for.
  9. I would not recommend this approach. The school have taken this step because they feel the need to do so; it is probably an over reaction but the best response would be to engage with them in a calm and measured manner.
  10. Another vote for Cat Crap; it works well, as does this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00ESL80E0?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
  11. One small part of my role is as the safeguarding officer for my organisation; I regularly receive referrals concerning individuals about whom concerns have been raised. I am surprised that this has gone straight to Prevent without an initial lower level intervention, unless they have other concerns. Based on what you have written, the school appear to have over reacted. Make an appointment with the Head and calmly explain the situation to them, showing them that shooting with toy guns in a safe and controlled environment is perfectly legitimate and that you are following professional advice by indulging his equally legitimate interests in history, war and politics while keeping a careful eye on what he is accessing and on his views. Whatever you do, do not show anger or frustration with them.
  12. Badly run, inconsistent rules, clueless marshals (including one who had to be persuaded to wear eyepro in the playing area), no checks on mags in guns when returning to the safe zone, loads of mags in guns in safe zone, lots of dry firing in safe zone, loads of speedsofters spamming guns in the semi-only CQB section.
  13. Would you consider taking an interest in playing at Tactical Warfare Airsoft? That site needs to be closed down.
  14. They have it rough as well! An RAF chap I used to know once had to stay in a 4 star hotel.
  15. It is for sale for a mere £900. https://prefired.co.uk/ads/arc-1-hpa-rifle/
  16. Interesting. When I went there, I think I probably played on about half of the site.
  17. I have received a couple of orders from them this month.
  18. I haven’t worked on a G&G L85 for a very long time, so will let others with more experience respond in detail. The lever in the magwell releases the spring tension; doing so at the end of a day’s play will help preserve the spring. Piston head and cylinder head O rings are available from https://www.ak2m4.co.uk, although I am not sure if he posts internationally.
  19. I have only been there once, for half a day; it was ok, verging on quite good, but I cannot summon up much enthusiasm to go there again. I think your report reflected my feelings about it better than mine did.
  20. It is your opinion that it was bad trigger discipline, not a fact, which is what you are presenting it as. What you are describing is not bad trigger discipline; it is him hitting someone who got in the way while he was shooting at legitimate targets. From his description of the incident and the diagram, I know where this happened; Mr Slow would have had plenty of opportunities to get out of the line of fire rapidly, just as I did later in the same location when I was hit. I am not "throwing shade"; you seem to be struggling to understand something that is really pretty straightforward and are lashing out by alleging dishonesty on my part. We aren't going to agree on this. Please feel at liberty to carry on replying; I have better and far more important things to do than argue this with you any more.
  21. A variation on a theme.
  22. I know he had a limited view and I haven't missed anything; he was shooting at targets he could see though his scope. Mr Slow was at fault as he did not remove himself from the line of fire. What do you expect the shooter to do? Take his eyes off the targets and check that some random Meal Team Six floperator isn't taking a leisurely stroll through a firefight? As the site owner at AP always says in the morning briefing, if you are hit, it is your responsibility to get out of the way; it is not the shooter's responsibility. I appreciate that you are struggling to understand something so simple, but do not accuse me of dishonesty when I point out why you are getting it so wrong.
  23. I am not making fun of you; I am trying to help you understand something that is rather straightforward. However, you appear to be struggling with rather more than reading comprehension. He had a target, which was the people running across. Mr Slow got in the way; that is Mr Slow's problem, not the shooter's.
