Oh it fires full auto even on safe so I suspect crap may have entered the trigger

I saw a spark when connecting the battery so it looks like there's a short somewhere, may have to pull the gearbox/trigger unit out.

Was on the usual aep style 7.2v battery

It's a 7.4v 2200mah, will try putting the old internal connectors on to see if that's it. God knows why I started this as this is my cqb gun!!!

No just cut standard battery connections and routed outside to deans plugs to a lipo battery in a peq box

Hi all, I have just done a lipo conversion on my well r4 and it's not gone to plan! I hooked the battery up and it just started firing in safety mode and when I pull the trigger in any fire mode it slows down, have I screwed it up permanently or is it a simple fix? Please help!!!!!! Thanks Andy

A well r4 and extended mag plus other bits and a nice kwa glock 19 with full glock trades, a 2-7x32 scope for my Cyma m14. Really trying to resist buying guns but failing miserably lol.

Nothing wrong with the Cyma m14, cheap as airsoft guns go but certain not crap by any standard. I have the standard wood effect m14 and intend to use it for cqb down longer corridors where a cqb gun can't reach mainly at the towers(if you have been there, you will know what I mean!).

I tried to attend a ww2 rifle only game and I had a thompson and an svd, asked if they were suitable and was told no end of story, can I hessian wrap my svd ... No you can't but as it happens I couldn't get to the games that weekend so it really wasn't an issue. A good forum with helpful guys! However I was told I could use an m14 which I bought anyway as I like them.

One that cost £20 and comes in a 6mm/9mm and I'm not joking. I won't pay £80 for one when I can get 4 for £80!

A few grades of Wet and dry paper with water to get a smooth glass like finish, wipe with white spirit to clean and leave to dry for 24hrs at room temp and Danish oil to finish. First time will soak oil very quickly, rub with palm of hand and wipe off wood after 20 minutes and repeat.

I have an A&K svd and it was double feeding bb's quite often until I fitted the ASPUK hop up and then it worked perfectly. The A&K uses AEG parts which means you don't need pricey sniper bits. Also on the svd, if you break your scope, you can resort to using the standard iron sights. I will also say that you don't need the svd type sights, I fitted a regular 4x40 scope which gives superb clarity and light gathering abilities. On the l96 and others you have a 28/30 round magazine, the A&K svd has 60rnd mags and these have metal outer casings.

I have to be honest on this..... I had a kjw 1911 and the gun was nice but the mag leaked and it really put me off GBB pistols till I took a plunge and got this kwa. So I can't comment on the benefits as I'm really a novice.

Well I bought a propane adapter and 2 canisters of Coleman propane gas and I must say I am impressed with my kwa glock 19. This gun has changed my opinions on GBB pistols to the point where I may sell my Cyma glock 18c aep for another GBB pistol! Many thanks guys for your invaluable assistance! Atb Andy

I had a cm16 and the g&g mag was awful do I bought a CAA midcap and the gun fed bb's perfectly.

Well I work indirectly on the gas side of national grid, impossible to get any gas refills out of them so I will just go down the Coleman gas route, just less bother.
