  1. I've reported all three of his shit vids to YouTube, what an absolute throbber! He needs a swift visit to the pant region from a 105mm shell.
  2. When you tap a GBBR to run on HPA, you are just replacing the source and type of gas from green gas to compressed air. If you have a magwell adaptor, it goes in the magwell and your free to use a normal hi cap or mid cap mag as the gas is no longer stored in the magazine, it is now fed into the gas parts either by a hose that is part of the adaptor or, by replacing the magazine gas fill valve with an hpa adaptor valve. Of course, if you use a fill valve replacement, you still have the low capacity of a gas mag but you are pumping hpa compressed air through the mag instead of filling it with green gas.
  3. That's what I've used for now, a paint pen but, it seems a bit naff and I doubt it's going to last that long. I'll order some more stickers and glue the buggers down this time. Thanks mate.
  4. Has anybody got any recommendations on what to use instead of those bloody awful stickers that come with the gate titan mosfets for the fire selector? They are utterly gash and about as sticky as an unsticky thing that has had all the glue licked off by an over exuberant lizard. I had the striker in use, but on my third game day out with it, it has crumpled up and fallen off......for the third time so, I can only assume it is a shite design and the smart collective on here has come up with a not shit solution.
  5. Looks like fatbobs has stopped selling. Their webpage is defunct and the one linked here in the UK section just goes to their YPC site for playing rather than buying.
  6. Forgive me if this is a silly question but, you have cleaned the barrel haven't you?
  7. I've got the Steyr Scout, completely stock except I fitted the mythical H nub. I hit 90+m with it, but I wouldn't dream of saying it was accurate for a YouTube "one shot one kill" at that range. I consider myself a better than average shot and I feel at 90m any more than 3 out of 10 shots that hit a man sized target is a great result. The point, for me, of a sniper is to be able to hit an AEG player at more range than they can reach with their shooter. If a good AEG can average 50-60m but have to be on "spray and pray" mode to hit you with one of 100 bbs, then you only need to be able to accurately hit them at 65-70m, and at that range, the scout is spot on, as I'm sure your SSG10 is.
  8. Sorry mate, I've got the same pistol and it's never missed a beat in the 3 years I've used it. All my mags have the valve slightly recessed, when did you buy it and how new are the mags as I've seen some changes recently to my mags for my Pit Viper and Hi capa which may point to newer mags being slightly different.
  9. I sold a CXP Mars recently, the non-sss version, had similar upgrades but also a new cylinder and piston head in there as well, it was barely used and it went for £300, but that was mates rates and it had always suffered from mid-cap syndrome.
  10. One of my mates failed his BFT when we were in phase 2 training together. He had been on the pop the night before and knew he would fail on his retest that evening so, he asked me to run it for him since I knew his regt number. I ran the timed portion in 7 mins and 48 seconds. He was a straight 10 minute guy on a good day and so he ended up on remedial PT when we did it again 2 months later and he romped home in just under 10 minutes to be told by the PTI that he was a slack bastard who didn't put any effort in........ 🤣
  11. I like the cut if your jib young man, you and I can be friends! My wife has a cupboard full of shoes, so I'm off to the shops tomorrow for a cupboard full of pews 🤣
  12. Real world drills fall down when you meet someone who has got more than 30 rds in their mag and a rate of fire slightly higher than a ships phalanx gun 🤣
  13. Absolutely this. My Scout will send a bb (0.48g) out to 90-95m on a calm day with no rain, I'm a pretty decent shot without being a bragger but at that distance I'm hitting some part of what I'm aiming at 2 in 10 shots or so. Spherical plastic blobs, no matter how well made or polished or out of what super expensive, upgraded to death electric peashooter are never going to be accurate like a ballistic round out of a rifled barrel. Whatever anyone tells you about their heroic exploits in taking headshots repeatedly at 70m, most airsoft engagements for AEGs happen at less than 30m, if you can hit a man sized target at 30m, that's good enough for the job in hand.
  14. I was a member of Phoenix for a year or two and towards the end of my membership there, I met the wank puffin. I spoke to him briefly, having seen a couple of his videos years beforehand, he seemed okay. Then out to the game zone and he was already out on the field dug in before anyone was released from the safe zone. Cue much fuckery throughout the day in terms of him jumping up and down like a Donald Trump type spoiled brat whenever he got hit and, asking marshalls to change the games and such to get better footage, including pausing a game so he could get a better camera angle. I gave him the benefit of the doubt when I was absolutely certain that I had slammed a bb into him centre mass from my sniper and he didn't call it, but, he completely and single handedly ruined the flow of play all day. I met him a second time a few weeks later and his antics were so off the chart, a number of regulars, myself included went on an area denial tasking for the whole afternoon with the intention of just stopping him slotting kids and rentals for lols. His own team let us pass without shooting us because they were all macked off with his shit too! Anyway, needless to say, when it became apparent he either had shares in Phoenix or it was one of the few sites letting him on and he was going to be there a fair bit, I surrendered my membership and went elsewhere. Some months later, one of the marshalls asked a question on social media asking why people were not playing at Phoenix as much and a fair few answers were "Dicking Buttstain" only to find he came on and verbally abused anyone who had mentioned him. In short, he's a cunt and a terrible ambassador for the sport and should do the decent thing and fuck off back to his racist porn cave in Essex with much haste.
  15. I've never used one in any other gat that didn't cause issues. In my personal experience there seems to be a variation in length between the 2 fangs and I've always ended up with a swerve on the bb and/or rubbish hop performance. Just personal preference is all I guess.
  16. Update. I've spoken to BZ Tactical who advise that there aren't any aftermarket rubbers that fit. They have stock ones and will send them out if needed, but apparently they are pretty solid so don't fail often. I've flat hopped it but, due to the rubber being so thick I've had to use and omega nub (black) to actually get a flat contact patch. For anyone else looking for innards for this gat, BZ will either have or order any internals you need if you send them and email with the part on the diagram from KWA highlighted.
  17. Hi all, Has anyone got the new model LM4D from KWA other than me? It's a significant upgrade from the supposedly quite gash LM4 with a newly redesigned hop unit. For anyone who has one, have you found any hop bucking rubbers that fit or work in it because the stock rubber has those horrid "fangs" and I'd love to get rid of them for something a bit less.....erm....shit. I don't know if the original LM4 rubbers are compatible and I can't find any reference to the LM4D rubber even on KWA website, place seems to suggest the LM4 rubber is the only one available at the moment but it looks different to the new one. Advice greatly appreciated. P.s. it shoots like a beast but I hate fanged rubbers.
  18. I was a regular member at a certain site that a certain YouTube asshat filmed at occasionally. I haven't renewed my membership this year and have gone elsewhere close by because he started turning up a lot more and the site would cater to his filming over the players enjoyment. I think the cost of living, the inability to readily get kit from suppliers who are abroad and the rise of the pootube attention whore are all factors.
  19. XT60 is way OTT for airsoft mate, stick with Deans connectors, they have a good electrical contact, and are easy as hell to solder on. XT60 are great connectors but they are really designed for much higher amperage uses and if you aren't a soldering legend, you can melt them very easily.
  20. My Bolt used 21.25mm, my ICS is 21.00mm as Speedbird says. I've heard people say the correct one for the ICS CXP is actually for an AK at 19.7mm but out of all 3 of those nozzles, the one that fits and seals is the 21.00mm for the ICS. I've tried all 3 personally. The maple leaf rubber was too long in the lip without a bit of gentle sanding, but the prommy purple would be spot on if it wasn't for a seriously tight hop unit. Even with a small amount of grease on the outside of the rubber and, being very gentle, I can push the barrel clean through the rubber before it is fully home.
  21. Do you know what, I never even considered that at all, thanks mate. I thought that was a sealed unit and the slots were to allow a new adjustment wheel to be added. I'll check it when I strip it for post skirmish cleaning this evening.
  22. It's an ICS CXP Mars, hop unit is stock ICS. I was using a Maple leaf and omega nub, then found the feed lips are too long so I sanded them down and then eventually I threw that in a bin and put a prommy purple in. Most recently, I flat hopped the prommy, but it wad a dog to get back into the hop unit even with a little lube.
  23. I recently put a barrel centering clamp on the barrel to hop unit interface and it came with 6 rubber o rings to use in place of the usual spring. I've been suffering mid cap syndrome since running epm1 mags and they damaged the tappet plate so the nozzle was pushed out of alignment from bb pressure, but I got rid of them and replaced the tappet plate. Now the issue is, on a hi cap test mag the rif shoots really well, but any mid cap at all gives me 1 shot that is okay, 3 shots that are crap and go about 30 ft and 2 dry fires on average. On full auto, it works fine with all mags. Question now is, is there a correct number of o rings to use and thus, using the wrong number has made the barrel to hop unit interface wrong so I'm getting misfeeds or should I ditch them altogether and go back to the spring?
  24. Have you tried ak2m4? I've seen the birdcage buffer tube clamp, the black bit in your picture, on there before.
  25. Points to note. Don't try and fit a crazy jet barrel to a Novritsch SSP1 unless you are happy to get the dremel out! The rim inside the SSP1 hop unit is 360 degrees around the front end, the CJ barrel only has side cutouts and as such, to get the barrel in, you'll have to dremel the inside rim top and bottom of the hop unit.
