I found the picture you posted Nick, as it wouldn't load from your link. Anyway, it's not too nice.. but if a mountain suddenly sprouts from no-where in the middle of Norfolk, and somehow becomes an airsoft site - I will paint my L96 in that camo just for you.

I'll get myself some OD Krylon, and have a go at painting. I've got some scuffs & chips on my outer barrel, which are silver, where the rest is black. Tips on that? Or just sand it down a bit and paint over the whole thing black?

I was thinking OD. Now, any tips on painting it? Apart from the obvious like disassemble, cover parts you don't want painted up, etc?

I don't see why not, the magazine and attaching the carry handle/scope could be difficult..
