      95p ! I remember when a bag of chips was thruppence ! and you could get a tram down town see George Formby in the Grand theater , have a 6lb bag of monkey nuts and STILL have change from 2’n’6 ! 👨‍🦳

      @Steveocee Dunno when that was but back in my day was Chicken & mushroom pie, chips & curry sauce with a soft drink and I would get a copper or two change from a folding Newton 

      I can remember the first time I heard my dad swear was when petrol went to 50p per GALLON!! The 50p thing as been my benchmark for lots of things since :P
