  1. I'll grab a couple of pictures, but it just looks like a micro gun
  2. Picked this up a while back off a guy. In good condition however he removed the gas line that allows a can of gas to be used, so it is hpa only. Works a treat though.
  3. I'm looking at a cyma xm177. Is it actually worth getting one from abroad now or just track down one in the UK? With import fees and hostage negotiations it seems like a bit of a ball ache.
  4. Mayhem paintball started running airsoft games. Great site, very obviously has paintball money behind it. Not run very well for airsoft as they don't really understand the game and the safety aspect is... Interesting. However they are now advertising speedsoft as I think it's more in line with their knowledge. Not my cup of tea, but it's obviously gaining traction.
  5. Thanks, had a look around and it looks like a good forum! Plenty to read. My play style is usually see where the cluster is and bring a machine gun to bear to get things moving again. I tend to try and squad up with new or rental players to make sure they have a good day. Although perhaps I do use the odd one as a "range finder" 😇 I'm no glory hog and use support guns in the intended support role, covering and suppressing to allow others to get the kills. Although give me the opportunity and I'll chew up entire squads!
  6. Putting together a dedicated vietnam shotgun loadout at the moment.
  7. Hello chaps. I suppose I'm an fng again! Been around for quite a while but new to this forum. I started airsoft probably about 20 years ago when AEG's came it two flavours. Marui if you wanted something reliable and CA if you wanted something with a metal body. Rentals were all TM famas's and US woodland was the fashionable camo. Airsoft dynamics still had a good reputation and two-tone guns were western arms infinity's. So I'm getting on... I can normally be found running around with an m60 or shotgun if I'm running a lighter kit. Although anything goes really. I'm into Vietnam period kit, green machine, tiger stripes whatever. I can normally be found at awa herts or dragons lair. I look forward to reading through the forum and getting to know you, perhaps there are some familiar faces
  8. Hello. Don't know if you bought one yet but I used a asg M3 as my primary for a long time. I bought the long one and chopped the barrel down. I believe they actually make this version now off the shelf. Internally they are better than the TM and it's always ready to go. No gas, no batteries. Just keep if fed with shells and it will keep blasting away. I have found that in a quick draw they are better than 90% of AEG's as the spring is pre cocked. It works well as an ambush gun but can be used offensively if you pick your shots. I personally always keep a loaded M4 hicap with me so if I want to move up on an enemy position I can toss someone a mag to cover me, no I'm out of ammo excuses! Just have spare shells handy and swap out for a fresh one before you move or you think you're about to get rushed. I used it in the woods so it's perfectly good for outdoors. I tend to feed it with a mix of ammo in different coloured shells. . 20 for general scatter (red) . 25 for more close up work (green) . 36 for take your hits... (clear) Hope that helps. But I will say in the 15 years or so I've been playing that some of my best games have been with a trishot.
