    Thanks guys and yes it seems it was a jam thats caused it now to order the piston sitting duck mentioned and go from there,so hard not to strip the 516 for its piston but after chrono'ing it earlier i think i will leave that gun alone as its sitting around the 315fps and acurate as hell as managed to keep my groupings quite close now to get the 621 to be the same lol

    this post limit is a bloody nightmare @Sitting Duck i cant reply to pms now because of the 24hr limit,but but it is the hop has caused a jam causing the rest of the damage,also  hop rubber hasnt been upgraded as still got the standard black one  may have been the cm516 thats been changed

      ahem - we get all sorts of scammers spammers & wankers on here flooding the board

       

      then Jedi master lurches into life to remove & ban them etc...

       

      so guess the limit was a recent thing introduced to limit the BS posters - honestly they just flooded every section over & over & over & over...

       

      you'll see it if you stick around - they get in now & then & spam the fuck out of this place & others

       

      I'm sure it will get resolved soonish sir

      Limit has been lifted manually in this case. It was indeed introduced as an antiflood measure but may need tweaking. We'll see how it goes.

    will give that a check in the morning thank you yeah i wouldnt go modding things without posting here first bud i dont know enough yet to even contemplate that and only got the basic theory of how the hop works havent delved in to that side further yet lol

    ach one of the joys of taken a pre owned gun i suppose taken all on board bud will replace the piston and go from there when something else breaks thank you very true you can only polish a turd so far i suppose lol

    was trying to figure out what you meant by pme loool perfect and again thank you for your time replying as far as i can tell it has had a hop rubber changed to a maple leaf and i think its got the red nub installed as theres an near empty pack with just the black one

    thank you will get the full piston ordered next week :),as for why it failed i couldnt say i fired around 5 rounds through on semi then got the dreaded chewed plastic sound so instantly stopped then stripped down,yeah have been watching alot of negative airsofts vids so decided to crack the gearbox open and take a look myself quite gd with my hands work on motorbikes in my spare time,the gears all look perfect its literally just the piston thats went on it luckily.thank you for the links and help greatly appreciated

    Well my cyma's piston has crapped itself,any recomendations on a upgrade piston? also thinking of replacing the gears shimming etc as im assuming the issue has been the gears been able to move and jump cause it to do that,i dont mind throwing a little bit of money at it as i dont have much invested in it so have a rough budget of bout £70 for upgrades/replacement parts once i have the mechanics all sorted will move onto cosmetics

    thanks guys well we have a problem so far 5 rounds in and the piston has crapped itself on the 621 lol oh well order up a new one next week any recomendations on a piston lol

    as the per the title hello new to airsoft literally managed to pick myself of a steal of a deal on 2 2nd hand cyma's for me and my step son to start using as soon as the rona buggers off! will be using the cm.621 for myself and let the boy use the cm516,came with 3 hicap mags 6 mids 2 stick 3s lipo's for the 621 and 3 crane nihms for the 516 both guns have come with a red/green dot sight,loads of bbs,a excortek chrono a vest gun bag and few other extra's

    couple of second hand cyma's a cm.621 for myself and a cm516 for my eldest step son both come with red/green dot sights 5 mid cap mags and 3 hicap crap ton of .25's gun bag and vest think i dont well just waiting on batterys charging so i can see how they run with full charge
