I’ve set up my DMR with a Modify tan hop and Bavtac nub, I haven’t tested it in the field yet but it’s easily hitting 60metres with a .40 in testing. Running at 290ish (1.56j). Still have adjustment in hop with the Bavtac nub so could use .43 easily I would think.

As a long term sniper, I would welcome the use of bolt action only for ghillie wearers. I think to be a sniper and enjoy that kind of gameplay you need to have a certain mentality (“patient”!), waiting for the shot to become available rather than chasing it. Personally I’ve always enjoyed flanking around the edges and sniping with a bolt action much more rewarding than run and gun, but that’s just me. It’s like playing the game in hard mode, with the kills so much more rewarding. I have been in games with non-snipers being ghillied up, and most of the time they were running about totally negating the use of the ghillie. But the counter point it is Airsoft and a game, so you can’t really say to someone paying the money bringing their own kit on a standard game day “can’t wear that mate”. Saying that I’ll be DMR’ing for the first time at the weekend (non-ghillie), so I may change my mind!

Hive mind, I’m struggling to get a precise ID on these mags I have. They came with a G&P M4 (WA based) GBBR, so can presume they are for that, but have no idea who made them. PMag shells fit nicely, but have been filed down at the front slightly. The inner gas tanks are totally bare, but don’t seem to match any others I’ve seen. Help me hive mind Kenobi, you’re my only hope…

Currently have a Guarder Night Hawk on my 4.3 build, zero issues with it. Does have all Guarder internals on the slide, but a Gunsmith Bros frame with AM steel bits. Never had an issue with any other Guarder stuff either, also have a Guarder slide/frame on my M&P9L build.

Ordered a load of Glock parts direct from them last year, no issues whatsoever, they shipped the order within 2 days. No customs charges on arrival either, was about £60 worth of bits.

Got (very!) lucky on another sales site. It has been stored in the original box for a long time, it was dirty and sticky?, but cleaned up perfectly.

This arrived today, and it’s…. Lovely. I don’t usually go for compact guns, but this I made an exception for. Western Arms Smith & Wesson Shorty .40 Sidekick. It has no safety, and is double action so fires even if not cocked, took me a little by surprise!

I had a Double Bell Glock that was 100% TM compatible, so I would think(!) that their M92 was too…

Pretty sure this will just be the main piston cup (the green bit!). KWA ones tend to disintegrate if left dry. You can by a new one, or swap for an o-ring type piston head, available at Lees Precision Engineering.

Western Arms are really, really nice, and were the go to around 15 years ago, however the spares/upgrade parts have completely dried up, rendering them pretty much a wall hanger now. I recently rebuilt one that I had to buy a donor gun just to get running again. If you want something that you can fix or upgrade if it breaks, get something TM based…

Don’t think you’ll find a stock one in the UK, plenty of HK retailers will have them though. As rocketdogbert said it will most likely be over UK limits on standard green gas, I have an upgraded WiiTech nozzle in mine and need to use 134a to get it under 350fps. The new Vorsk VP1 *may* have the same system as the MP9, so maybe a nozzle from that will be compatible….

These were in a bulk load of bits I picked up, but I’m not sure exactly what they are…. I’m guessing a green gas converter for CO2, but for what? They have a green gas inlet in the bottom, and would fit a co2 mag slot, but the threads are very corse. I may just save the valves from the bottom if they remain unidentified. Cheers!

I’ve used Jack before, good to know he has the files! Mine will be a while in the making, I’ve got the CTM lower now and will be ordering the outer barrel soon, not sure if I can stomach the cost of the CNC upper yet!

Any chance of a picture of your converted one? Ruger .22 is my goal for the AAP, be good a see one already done so I know where to aim ?

How are those CTM lowers? I’ve just got myself an AAP but hate the standard lower frame….

I have a Well G96D (Ares AW.338 clone) that I want a suppressor on, despite buying multiple adapters that supposedly fit (news flash - none do) I need someone who can machine a 14mm neg thread on this piece of aluminium barrel. I’ve tried a 3D printed piece, the inner threads match my barrel, but it’s not strong enough to hold the suppressor. Happy to send it away to someone who can do the job for me, anyone got any recommendations? Ta! *edit* it’s the non-threaded end I need a 14mm neg thread on!

I had one of these, think I sold it for about £25-30.
