PSG1 is an AEG 🙃Well, that is silly of me, of course it is.
Now, what begs the question is, why that flat side on the barrel? Do I need a special part to be attached there? Because that is what is causing so many problems in my AEG. WHat is the function of the flat side?

The cut is supposed to be there,
Pardon my english, I lack the vocabulary. The cut is where the nob press to make the bb hop. I understand that.
Is the 1 mm flat plain long side what I don't understand.
Looking at other barrels and modifications by gunsmiths, the barrels they use are completely cilindrical, without this 1 mm long side cut off

what kind of barrel is this? I bouth it for my M4, but it has this cut along the beginning of the barrel (should be completely cylindrical and I wonder if that's why the air seal is so bad in my gun) (I'm new on this)
It's supposed to be a Madbull - 6.03mm Black Python Tight Bore Barrel for M4 and other AEGs, but I think I bought the wrong thing.
Anyone familiar with this type of barrel?

Same situation here, I was thinking in drilling a small whole to fit a 'laptop' size screw, to phisically stop the selector. That way, you can always remove the screw to play CQB full auto. ?? Opinions?

Hi there!
I've been looking at real stocks for the remington 700, out of curiosity, and I was wondering... has anyone here tryied to attach an airsoft triger box/barrel to a real stock? like this? https://www.ebay.com/itm/REMINGTON-700-STOCK-LA-HARDWOODS-BDL-CAMO-SYNTHETIC-GRAY-OVERMOLD-REMF115365/293761488740?
Perhaps the short version fits better?

I told you, ring MPAI'm looking at it, and it seems ok but pretty far. The facilities look amazing though. However, is not about facilities. look for instance Josef Mucha, from Novritsch. He doesn't have interactive targets or anything like it. He's got just a tripod with a piece of paper. However he is comfortable there. I don't see a lot of room in MPA.

Bear in mind that the "training" for rentals consists of being handed a plastic gun and told which is the pointy end. As long as everyone's wearing eyepro, the worst case scenario isn't so bad.
I understand. For me training is more like this (grip, draw, aim, shoot):
I can't do this in a walk-on. All I need is a space of about 10 yards, for pistol (and some extra room to place a camera or two). A place for rifle drills is going to be very hard to find, but I will figure that later in the spring.

Most airgun clubs aren't very Airsoft friendly, there used to be 'the Range' on Edgware road but that looks to have gone.
Best thing to do would probably be to hang a sheet in a hallway or large room and use that as a backstop.
Or alternatively book a hotel room and go for a day at the Greyhound in Coventry, Airsoft friendly and they have a decent pistol range with pulleys etc.
Thanks for the reply, I'll look into this info.
Honestly, I'm surprised that a country like this, with such a history for Airsoft, doesn't have training facilities. Imagine football in a country without grassroots football.

Good morning, I live in London and I’m trying to find an ‘airsoft friendly’ place where I can train someone in basic target shooting, weapon safety and basic drills; or in other words, a shooting range (proper or improvised).
I have tried the official airsoft places but they want me to do a ‘walk-on’ and things like that, not exactly what I’m looking for (in terms of safety, installations and cost).
I was wondering if anyone in the London area (or within an hour driving range) can recommend a place where an instructor can train someone safely and lawfully.
Thanks in advance!

Why not just buy a roto holster that fits a P09? https://www.fobus.com/holsters/cz/45/cz-duty.html
Fobus aren't terribly pricey.
Thank you, I found them here in UK for £20. Not bad at all. Cheers!

it depends, but i'd imagine not. .22 is nominally around 5.5-5.6mm which is smaller than our 6mm bb's.
I'm baffled, how did I miss that! FFS
Apologies for wasting your time, of course it wouldn't work. I really need to have a coffee before writing in forums.

Hi there, I'm trying to find out (before buying) if tactical belt holster for Sig Sauer P226 fits a CZ p09.
I checked the measurements and despite being both full size pistols there are of course differences. I wonder if anyone here has tried this and can share some wisdom, thanks.
P226
Length: 7.7″ (196 mm)

CZ P09
Length: 8.2" 208 mm

Hi, I've know someone who is selling a real 22 cal. suppressor and I was wondering, can that be attached to an airsoft gun? What kind of adapter would it need (if possible)?
Thanks (I couldn't find anything about this in the forum, apologies in advance if already exist a thread)
#edited#
by the way, utility is not expected really, it's just for cosmetic purposes
here is the link to the suppressor
