  1. In my experience, TM upgrade parts regularly don't fit in WE without some modification. I'd look for WE specific upgrade parts. RA-TECH do we specific CNC parts. I wouldn't spend money on a lightweight BBU. I've tried a lightweight BBU in all my Glocks, and the only one that it worked in was a TM SAI G34. But I had to use the original TM BBU internals as the "Upgraded" parts that went in the BBU caused massive gas issues. The weight you'll loose will be barely 10 grams. You tend to gain efficiency from the BBU being lighter, but then lose efficiency because the BBU doesn't fit the nozzle as well, you end up with leakage, or friction due to the minor differences in sizes. There's better upgrades to spend your money on like a barrel, hop unit, hop rubber or a swanky slide. A lighter slide will make the most difference. I'd avoid doing all these upgrades if the parts in the pistol are in working condition. Unless you're running serious power gas or CO2, none of these metal parts will see fatal wear immediately.
  2. The gen 1 TM P226 was only produced until 2010 - same with the guarder kits. They're discontinued both in terms of the TM pistol and the guarder kit once the E2 was in production. The Gen 1 and E2 are generations of SS P226 in the real world. The P226 E2 (e-squared), was produced from 2010 onwards. Its the newer, more ergonomic P226. I've included a wikipedia page regarding the di https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SIG_Sauer_P226
  3. Using the appraisal math @rocketdogbert shared with me. The parts added - the parts removed * 0.7 puts us at £290
  4. Doing the math, all the parts added - all the parts remove plus 5 mags * 70% is about £280 This is the first gen P226 with first gen guarder kit. As far as im aware, you can't get either anymore. It's all the gen 2 pistols. Lets see what other people say.
  5. Thanks - I'll work it out! £200-£250 is what I was hoping for, but I wanted a sanity check. By the sounds of it, £250 is probably wishful.
  6. Hi All, Looking for an appraisal on this - SRU WE XDM with 5 mags with bumper plates. The internals are fairly stock. The lower hasn't been modified and the slide has the original BBU. The slide came with a 6.03 barrel and a hop rubber. So that's gone in. The pistol works flawlessly, but has only had about 200bbs put through it - puts out around 330fps on green gas. The slide is an SRU T6 slide: https://www.sru-precision.com/product-page/sru-xdm-cnc-slide The XDM is the WE "IPSC" XDM. It has a HUGE flared magwell and the mag has a bumper plate. I got 4 more mags and bumper plates to match. 1 of the mags is a little leaky. Nothing that would affect a game day, but I notice the pressure has been lost after about 2 weeks. This only happens if you store the mag upright. if you store if upside down (feed lip to the floor), then it doesn't leak at all.
  7. Hi All, I have a TM P226 with full guarder kit and 5 mags that I want to sell. This P226 was originally bought from Heroshark many years ago (2014). From what I remember, he made two P226s, one chrome and black, one black and chrome. I bought the black and chrome off him from the zero in forum. Originally it was well used, so I ended up having to get a new Guarder body kit for it. The new body kit hasn't seen a huge amount of wear. At the time, Luke from Negative Airsoft fixed it and set it all up. It hasn't missed a beat since. The pistol runs happily on green gas. 310fps roughly. Here's a list of what's gone into it: Genuine Hogue Grips. Laylax compensator black. Guarder lower black. Guarder slide black. Guarder Barrel Chrome. Guarder funish (takedown, decock, slide stop, trigger, recoil rod and screws) Chrome. laylax tritium sights tight bore barrel and hop rubber (maple leaf) Magazines have shims and laylax gas routers. Various trigger and BBU parts have been replaced or upgraded due to wear - but I wouldn't say it's a selling point. Points to note: The slide is worn from using a holster. 1 of the screws are missing - I'm happy to replace these. barrel is worn slightly due to contact with slide. If I've missed any details that would determine the valuation, let me know

I'm looking at acquiring between 4-8 hi capa 5.1 magazines. I think I could manage £20 inc PayPal and P&P for good condition working mags. I'm happy to buy them in cash - but I also have 6 WE Hi capa mags that I'm willing to trade. I also have two pistols I'm happy to trade. 8 brand new chrome 5.1 mags would be about £230, so I'd be happy to trade an SRU XDM with 5 mags in return for 8 TM chrome hicapa mags. Chrome finish isn't essential... but would be ideal.

  9. I did a search of the forum, and couldn't find what I was looking for, so I thought I'd ask the Airsoft Hive mind. I have several Glocks - 3 of which I've modified to work with CO2 magazines. One of the Glocks has a funny imbalance between the recoil spring and hammer spring meaning it runs perfectly on CO2, but not on Green gas... but that's a different story. Anyway, I have 5 WE CO2 mags. 3 work absolutely flawlessly on all 3 pistols. 2 of them seem to light strike on all 3 pistols. The fact that they light strike of 3 different configurations, leads me to believe that the mag is at fault. I've been pressing the valves and they feel quite difficult to depress and they stick - they don't bounce back instantly. So, I guess my question - Does anyone recommend any fixes to solve this sticky and resistant valve? My gut feeling was to buy new CO2 valves (in the pictures, these have a green seal, mine have red seal). But I'm wondering if there's a maintenance trick I can do to fix the valve?
