Yes, the Abbey Predator Ultra is green gas but with more accelerant in it to give it extra welly. I forgot how powerful the gas was in sub 20c temperature. The Abbey green bottle gas (144a) shouldn't take it over the joules limit though as you said... I'll take some shots with 144a tomorrow if I have the time and see what the joules output is... It's gonna be circa 23c tomorrow in my neck of the woods so that will be a good measure of what summer gas can do. I won't leave the mag in the sun though as that's surely asking for trouble lol
How did the 144a go?

Bloody hell!! 1.3j on green gas? You sure no one accidentally painted a red can green? What brand of green are you running?
Nuprol 2.0, just changed the hop rubber that’s all. Shot it this afternoon and the first few shots were 1.34J before after 5-6 shots in quick succession, it dropped to below 1.14J

Depends what temp you were in. If this was a one off on a hot day. Try using Abbey 144a summer gas. If that is all standard parts you shouldn't be getting that high FPS unless weather is quite warm.
And the temp was as it was today, ~23-24 degrees. Mags were in my car in the shade as I drove to a shop to use their range

Speaking of what Gunbod said. I'm around 1.3J running .32 and green gas. Is there a good NPAS to use or is the angrygun enhanced nozzle with the inbuilt adjustable nozzle a good option to lower my FPS?

Stick in Abbey Ultra (red can) It’s green gas but has more punch and easily works well in our cold temperatures at the moment.
To check your mags just get some cheap green gas and expel any air blockages that’s may be in the magazine. Essentially hold the gas release valve open (in) and stick gas through the magazine until it flows out consistently. That’s just to ensure any blockages are cleared.
What gas do you change to in the winter? Do you just stick with Abbey Ultra?

Its a tiny mark...you will get bigger ones so whats the big deal
why didnt you shrink it too so its even less visible?
I just put mine on, sure its marked but who gives a toss..its a gun that will get smacked about. You making a showroom piece or a tool for a job?
I haven't shrinker it yet as I don't have a blowtorch to hand but it's also my weapon, doesn't affect anyone with it being heatshrinked.

It's on mobile now too!

It's pretty straightforward, just is a shade tighter to screw in but not masses

I was thinking same thing this today lol but need to find something thin but durable.
Mine arrived today, a bit of heatshrink (can be shrunk or left as is). Put it over the rear part.
Use the torx tool to punch a hole. Take the heatshrink off and enlarge the hole slightly so the screw fits nicely. Heatshrink back on and tighten down. No excessive pressure on the catch and it will not scratch the upper receiver.
Not too obvious unless you look up close.

@TadsJ2
I mean the buffer itself. Like this one: https://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/angry-gun-super-recoil-buffer-kit-for-marui-mws-gbb-high-speed-versionI'd ideally like to leave the buffer tube stock

Hi all,
What's a good buffer set up for the MWS that fits the original stock? Just for when the original one cracks.
Things are pretty confusing online as to what will fit with no mods. Will I need a new sealing ring?
Many thanks

What about a bit of heatshrink?

Got the magpul bad lever and bolt locks back fine on stock bolt stop so far.
A warning to others do ot use the bad lever as it marks the body of the gun, even after sanding the back lots it will still catch
Big waste of £35 ffs

Just bought one and I’ve seen this! Worth putting a small pad on the back?

@AlphaBear
I can confirm that this barrel wrench, with a light tap, fits into the rail barrel nut like a dream! Getting everything off with loctite is no picnic, you'll need to apply heat with a hairdryer for a few minutes to loosen the nutNo need to ship from the states is a bonus.

Where do you live mate? I made a tool to take mine off, I could probably do yours if you're anywhere near Derby. Special tool, AR vice clamp, vice and electric heat gun where what it took to take mine off.
I live in Lincolnshire. I have an AR tool coming so hopefully shouldn’t be too bad to remove it!

Still on the plastic buffer after two years with no problems. With regards to upgrades if I could go back and tell my younger self I'd upgrade the hop nub (six g) the lightweight bolt catch and green gas mod the mags and save the money for externals as I've tried most 'upgrades' and found for me anyway that there a disappointment and had to spend money reverting to original parts and I now hit a crouching man size target at 60m at under 350fps.
listen for the ting of the hits - 2x sprayed joined metal plasterer's hawks targets 325x650mm in size shooting 0.30g Geoff's super natural bio bb's on a windless day.
Looking great! I’m just changing the bucking and the hop arm internally. I’ve done some external visual upgrades with rail covers etc. Green gas modded all 5 mags and I’m getting 278FPS with less than 1FPS variation on .28g bbs

I think I've found it! £40 but better than paying £50 in shipping!

@AlphaBear
Seen, looks like I'll await shipping from the states then! -
@AlphaBear
I'll be installing the ML Autobot 60° 2021 and the Laylax MWS strike hop arm. I do love the look of the DD rail. It's a lovely bit of kit. -

It needs to be a bright standout colour. A lot of RIFs have green/tan but they require a valid defence. If you do not have a valid defence then you'll need at least 51% of your airsoft replica to be blue, yellow, red or green. Army green won't cut it but it doesn't look to bad in the two tone green.
Definetely rent first and get a defence and then get whatever you want.

You need to order over £140 I believe of which you'll need to pay customs and VAT on entering the UK. They're currently using UPS who are in shambles so if you order something, don't expect to recieve anything within a month.
Also TG have suspended shipping again to the UK as UPS cannot cope with demand. If you can, shop in the UK.

Sounds good! I've ordered the Orga NPAS so I can adjust my FPS a bit. I have a can of 144a so I'll use that if it's not delivered before then.
