Has been a great gun, but I tend to use GBB or recoil pews nowadays. I reshimmed it a couple of year ago, it has a Maple Leaf hop rubber, comes with 2x mid caps and 1x hicap (dodgy rattle can paint job), mags are a little tatty as per picture, but work fine. Wood was sanded back, burnt with a lighter and varnished. Stock has some surface rust where the sling mounts have rubbed, converted to Deans, no known issues but has slipped down the pecking order. So an update, over the past couple of months, I've slowly sanded off the original varnish and just about finished recoating. I used 3x coats of water based wood stain (Dark Walnut), then 3x coats of Danish oil. I picked up a repro butt plate and tarnished with some salt & vinegar, it's not perfect fit, but better than the metal one it comes with. Happy enough with it, it's far from perfect, but then that adds a bit of character 🙂 Original vs real steel Sanded Reoiled Butt plate

ASG UltraAir (so green gas), SW around mid 20s. Done nothing since I last used it about a month ago, on 0.30s, where it was just under (same gas). BB's, I tried .28, .30, .32s all over... 10-20 fps depending on weight

I was planning to run my MWS tomorrow, it's totally stock, but thought I'd Chrono today as I'm changing BB's and it's running hot on all weights. I thought I'd need an NPAS at some point so not a massive surprise, given the warm weather. Has anyone happened across UK stock? I can only find them outside the UK. I know I could use 144a but a little late for tomorrow and in the longer term I assume an NPAS is the way to go rather than many different gasses, plus I just bulk brought Green gas 🙂

Does anyone have one of these, looking for some real World feedback, any good out of the box? do they take WE G17 mags? I have an AAP-01 and would like a secondary Glock platform, to utilize the mags I have, as the AAP is in a kit most of the time.

I've literally done something very similar over the past (expensive) month, but the other way around. Brought an MWS M4a1, loved the feel of it and enjoyed it at its first outdoor outing, then promptly brought a TM Mp7 for CQB, which like you used for the first time last weekend. Similar story, I have had quite a few AEGs and still have some, but was looking for something more and am now hooked 🙂
