  1. time to work some hop up stuff!
  2. Its 300mm with a 6.04mm inner bore. Im not sure what the standard size is... 270mm with a 6.07mm bore? Maybe? I know the Marui barrels are not always a tight bore.
  3. Added some spare furniture off my KC02 for now until I work out what style route I’m going. FAB defence real steel stock and grip kinda reminds me of the Spec ops load out for the Americans in Bf2 now 😁 Pulled out the crazy jet and swabbed. And found a spare SRS nub which should work perfectly with the TNT rubber. Just need to wait for my tooling to arrive. I just hope the barrel doesn’t bring the FPS up too drastically.
  4. WD40 is a bit of a no no in airsoft guns. As it contains petroleum which rots certain rubbers and plastics. Keep it to every thing else. Thin silicone oil is best such as Abbey silicone gun oil 35. Been using it in all my GBB guns with no issues.
  5. @Wo1f Yeah I agree. Ive looked it up and its so squishy. I used to have a plastic version I used for a while in my AUG. Made a world of difference. Also im planning on running a similar bolt release lever. That Magpul is cheaper here in the UK than the Laylax one. Personally I dont see it causing to many issues. But guess time will tell. Also. Im a noob when it comes to front rail kits on M4's. My G&G had a nice keymod already fitted. Can any one suggest to me a decent barrel adaptor and rail system what will work with the stock outer barrel? And if I decide to go shorter outer barrel, where can I get one? Cant really find much.
  6. Had some range time today. Learnt that she struggles to hop .28’s on max. Hates 144a in this weather. And my holosight is still rather crap and needs to go into the bin! Think ill I’ll be investing in the tooling to remove the barrel nut. Work some stuff on the hop and barrel. I’ve got a spare 300mm crazy jet that I used in my striker. Wonder if that will be any good... any my suggestions on hop buckings? Tempted to use my spare 50 degree TNT TR hop with a better nub
  7. Thank you! Luckily I keep them lying about. Really grateful this thread is here and filled with good info to!
  8. Just picked mine up today! Blown away by the operation. Quality is outstanding and I’m not disappointed in the slightest. Question: what adapters are you using for speed loaders? Cause stuff using the tube and rod in the field!
  9. Recently purchased a TM HK45 Tact from them. Had a slight hick up with my UKARA number which was eventually sorted. Kept me some what updated in regards to my two spare mags as they got stuck in customs and then sent to the wrong depo. Overall good service, just shame things have gone wrong out of their hands in a couple of places
  10. It should be only free. My local store will upload your details then and there in front of you! And if thats the case, surely registering your details on UKARA would be instantaneous?
  11. Im quite surprised that its probably one of the, if not, most popular Bullpup on the market, yet no newer version has been created.
  12. And by going by your signature, I see why. What about aftermarket parts? Will no parts from other gearboxes fit? Or is it a case of buying some ones broken gun for spares?
  13. I did have a JP FA-MAS I got second hand once. It was a bit buggered and used and abused by a young kid. Tried my damnedest to repair it but it was too far gone internally. I understand its plastic feeling and creaking. That wont bother me too much. Still kinda wished I kept the remains, would be useful to do the modification above.
  14. Im starting to think going down the lines of a TM FA-MAS SV. But doing this modification: Whats peoples opinion on the V1 gearbox? Any motors I can use to upgrade it?
  15. Not necessarily. Because of the mixed reviews I wanted to see if any one here had some first hand experience with them, and gather opinions on what people would suggest to start with. Its all good and dandy looking at video reviews, but 90% of it is companies trying to sell the gun, and only showing the good points about the AEG. Not the actual issues and hiccups you come across during ownership and skirmishing. You can look at the Ares TAR 21 for that matter.
  16. Mightyjebus, Ive noticed the TM FA-MAS has made a come back, Its one of my upper most favourite guns. Only problem is rail space, optics, and ive herd getting parts for the gearbox is hard, plus it has a weak motor? Ill keep it on my list. Russe11, I understand the Plastic stock M14's are lighter, and without a doubt better for days skirmishing. But I just adore the look of a EBR version. I'd rather have an EBR.
  17. Hello every one. After a long hiatus. I've come back in need of some advice. As of recent I've started doing skirmishing at my local site, and began getting signatures towards a membership. I've started looking at a couple of guns under the £300 range. First is the Cyma CM032 EBR. I've taken quite a fancy for the EBR, but I'm sure every gun enthusiast has. Every review I read is rather mixed, like its too heavy, or the quality of metal is poor and cheap. I still have not lost all faith in this gun, as some say its a good platform to upgrade and work with. Secondly is the Ares TAR 21. Some people rave about this gun. A lot shun it due to the poor quality internals, gearbox jamming and selector getting stuck. I don't really want a M4/M16, nor a AK, as a lot of people use them. I'm a good fan of Bullpups. What's every ones two cents? Is the Cyma EBR worth a shot? Or try some thing else? Many thanks~
