Cool to see the community is catching up on HPA carbine kits for pistols. Here’s my 1911 with an hpa hi cap mag I built 2-3 years ago, running on 120psi. A bit hot (2.1J) because of a long inner barrel (250mm) - not a cqb gun.

You can use hand warmers. They are chemical substances in a small bag that generate heat when squeezed. You can stick them to the pouch.

But it helps if you plan on dropping them

Anyone tried these rubber covers with TM MWS mags?

It’s the cheapest possible, from Battleaxe, was around 6£. I had to shave it inside though as it was too tight and not fitting properly.

I had to work on it with dremel for about 30min but the pistol grip from Battleaxe fits and looks quite nice (and is cheap af).

Getsome1000 is one hell of a lubricant. Super light and very slick.

Which gas block and rod fits the MWS with madbull mk18 rail?

there’s always hope - not sure what threading is there but options are from threaded inserts to just epoxy glue it inside.

It will compress the recoil spring, may help when using power gas. It’s also simple to build on your own. I made something similar using sorbopads and washers.

Yeah, just make sure there is enough space inside the washer for the buffer.

This can happen when you screw in the buffer tube to much or you use green gas and the bolt travels with a higher speed and force. For the top screw there’s not much you can do (I’ve compressed the buffer tube spring to make it stiffer), for the two side dents you need to either screw out the buffer tube or cut off few threads like I did so it does not protrude that much making contact with the bolt.

And what are the differeces between them? Lenght, weight, stronger spring? These would increase the FPS.

I got a 6.03 370mm inner barrel and with that KWA mp9 valve I’m pushing 520 FPS at 0.20g. BTW I just installed the Chinese UBR, looks ok but it’s heavy. Also I had to cut 1/3rd of the threaded part as it was going too far into the receiver and the bolt was catching sides (the tube has bit smaller diameter than stock).

Yeah, best wat to put it in, I also use another screwdriver to keep the spring in while I’m pulling out the first one so it does not jump out.

One thing to be aware of is that if you plan on using full auto with HPA then the wear is something to consider. I’ve almost destroyed my KWA KV on hpa but I was shooting full auto on 120-130psi and had a 5000 rounds box mag so I never went out of bbs and rof was x2 the stock one. Other than that it’s just the same as gg but better (no cool down, consistent FPS). OK so it’s just me, I’m too cheap apparently. Anyway if I were to do only one piece the price must have been higher but when doing stuff in batches the costs and time spent can be optimized.

If you’re talking about me then you should know I used to produce Kriss Vector HPA Box mags. They were electric, costed $200 (where I was providing all parts including $40 gas mag) and required hours of labor. Have you ever produced anything yourself and sold to the public?

Nah, was just curious however £100 just for the labor sounds expensive to me but I get that it’s not a one hour job.

Well, I drilled using 3.3mm bit and then used a proper threading tool. But it’s plastic so theoretically you can just force screw it in. How much is it?
