  1. I've never bought from a store it's always been online - I feel shaken by these new charges to the point where I can't validate paying that much for what is essentially shipping. I'm in a bit of a conundrum personally about carrying on (maybe this is because I'm as we all are starved of a game day) but yea I'm upset by this and dont fancy paying UK prices.
  2. By the gods, hardly worth ordering from them anymore then! Oh jeez, what's this going to do to airsoft - especially for new players!
  3. Dum dum here, so we pay TG X amount then when it comes into the UK we pay a fee to the carrier (UPS)?
  4. Preach, I went through 2 pairs of mechanix on my guns cardre.
  5. Thats noice. Please take that top heat shield off tho ?
  6. I really wanted to go to NAF too
  7. When / if they start delivering again ?
  8. I don't think you'll be able to get to it due to the aforementioned order issue.
  9. Scroll up buddy, they’re not currently taking orders.
  10. Yeaman, I’m in communication with TG and I’ve spoken to Pheas re this briefly (we know he likes his big orders from TG) He reckons it’ll be soon... Dunno if he’s on here? I was listening to the Chairsofter podcast from last year and he suggested the likes of Evike may even get involved should EU shipping be a problemo.. Obvs that’ll be at a premium. I’m after a CM.097B but I’m not paying PB prices!!
  11. Hmm, I dunno man. I wanted to place an order for £220 and it asked me to complete form but gave me nothing to fill in - after speaking to customer service via email that said they couldnt confirm if I could place an order at this time.
  12. Airsoft Nation - Airsoft Radio bring it back !!

  13. So can I order from TG or not? Haha
  14. I E-mailed them yesterday re an order and when can I place an order: "We do not have that information yet".

Interesting to see a working setup, any idea what kind of fps it's capable of?

I tried a few years back as my dissertation project and the only conclusion i could draw was "i dont know enough about electrics"

Seems like that's running something similar to the mythical BO dynamics one as a springless design.

Would be great if it could be made to work, all i know is i dont know how to acheive it :P

Indeed, no idea on FPS but it’s definitely something to look forward to in the future. Veet veet vs pud pud.

The issue is wether or not this could acheive any serious fps.

Energy wise its feasable (a 1j aeg has about 2.5j of spring energy), but wether or not an electromagnet can translate that well enough in a packagable format is a different story.

  17. Hi all,

Unfortunately I’m bowing out of our glorious sphobby due to the global health event swallowing my job.

It’s with a heavy heart that I’ve sold my gear off to stay one step ahead of the financial dip that I will be taking.

If others are experiencing this I am truly sorry that you’ve had to experience it and I completely understand the s***e position we find ourselves in.

For all you others that are fortunate enough to not be effected by the aforementioned event then hats off to you and I hope you all get out on your field as soon as it’s safe to do so.

The UK Airsoft scene is an amazing community and I’ve seen this by people offering to pay a little more on postage of items that I’ve sent out to them - whether it be a 5er or a 10er it really doesn’t matter.

It truly is that thought and action that matters and I’d just like to say thank you to everyone who has ever answered one of my burning s*** questions for me in my hour of need back when I didn’t know my bevel from my nub.

I’ll not be active on the forum as much as it’s too painful to see all the good stuff going on the classfields.

Take care to you all and hopefully I’ll be shooting at you soon.

    Kind regards

  19. Any ex squaddies out there who can still hear their old section commander in depot? “GET THAT F****** HANDLE DOWN”
  20. Haha my WHT on the GPMG lasted all of 10 mins... never even held one in depot and within a day of being at battalion I was lugging it around with 700 rounds and a spare barrel...
  21. Hey there, I took the leap. I wear prescription glasses underneath my goggles and fogged up like a MF. Short answer to the question of functionality: yes, they do work. Are they 90£ worth of anti fogging goodness.. Hmmm, I played for 4 hours straight at the mill in Wigan and they fogged up once whilst stationary. However, not as much as my goggles used to fog up and it was to the point where I could see and my red dot was a lil blurry. So if like me and others on the thread: you wear glasses under goggles and you’ve simply had enough of fog and walking back to the safe zone (and got 90£ burning a hole in your dump pouch) then yea they’re worth it. I was sceptical, yet proven wrong. Overall good product and just by the skin of its teeth worth the investment. If anyone wants to see the set up I’ve got and how I use them just let me know. Ron
